@kazoorocketman54 i feel bad for your generation man...all that auto tuned pop and shit on the radio nowadays and skinny jeans lol...this is the kinda stuff they played in 93 when i was 11 yrs old..90's kicked ass
@Stillguitars: I know, and it sux. I'm not sure who's side to take on this. It's like the DLR / VH split.
Rob was the shit, and supposedly the brainchild, but then he went on to start doing Halloween remake shit and techno-metal. So that knocks him down a little.
On the other side, it appears the rest just kinda backed up Rob. But, Jay's riffs, though "simple", fit the music perfect. Plus, Ivan was one of the most underrated metal drummers of the time, IMO.
Yea too bad Rob's the laziest bitch I've ever seen on stage and even introduces songs with "this song fucking sucks but you idiots always wanna hear it" ~ and Rob Zombie solo can eat a dick! La Sexorcisto and Astro-Creep were where it's at
@40Rtruss I know about the 90's man.. All these milestones popping up all the time making me feel old. Like the fact that "And Justice for All" came out (gulp) TWENTY-THREE years ago... Same with Appetite for Destruction! But yea man the whole Sexorcisto album was so original and had it's own individual flavor it was and still is badass
Yea I saw them on this tour too. The opening act was some band called quicksand and the crowd pretty much ignored them, Rob came out and told all the people sitting down that they suck except for one guy that was standing and rockin out during the quiksand set, Cracked me up. Good shows though
yeah La Sexorcisto had a really warm 'band' vibe with great drums by Ivan Deprume and really well mixed. I found Astro-creep really plastic-sounding in comparison. Great band with a real history and great tunes.
Was this the Zombie/ Pantera tour?Best show ever.Front row left.Deaf for 2 days! Threw my old shirt at Zombie bass player.Hung off of end of her bass for a couple of minutes before Rob removed it and threw it into the crowd.
No shit man! This was one of my favorite shows ever. White Zombie and Pantera. La Sexorcisto and VDOP two legendary metal albums. I was ten feet from the stage, it was nuts. Good memories, mano.
I don't think the purpose of white guys gettin dread locks was to be cool in the first place man lol.. It just ended up being cool for a few years... Fuck ( COOL )
M1rock kicks ass! Thanks for all of the zombie love. Seeing White Zombie live were some of the best experiences of my life and it's great to be able to revisit them.
this is the way i remember it,i saw white zombie open for danzig at the bomb factory in dallas, somewhere in this time frame, lots of paper and shrooms...
my first show was white zombie, deftones and pantara in 96.i was 16.and still the best show i have ever been too.but i am looking for some vidieo of this on drums so i can learn it.if anyone has seen one plz let me know.
i dont see why j didn't play the unison bends. it might been cause they didn't have a back up guitar. o well. almost this whole album is vintage, classic, kickass shit.
That was fantastic! This is one of my faves from La Sexorcisto too. I also love I am Legend. La Sexocisto is probably my all time favourite album ever. I never ever get tired of hearing it. Sean is so sexy!
Man that was amazing! I always love white zombie and this is my favorite song. I know how to play the whole album on bass! This is not only one of my favorite zombie songs, but also one of my favorite things to play EVER. EVER!
Energy!
