  • mmm kay! - and theres no "O" in aluminium to all you americans!

  • @vINathIx No spelling of "aluminum"/"aluminium" contains an O. The difference between the names aluminum and aluminium and the reasoning behind it is easily researched on the web. In short, both are accepted and there is a good reason why. It's actually pretty interesting, so Google it. :)

  • "We don't want to carry around a mouse, right? So what do we do? Oh, a stylus! Right? We're gonna use a stylus! ...No. No. Who wants a stylus? You have to get 'em, and put 'em away, you lose 'em, yuck. Nobody wants a stylus. So let's not use a stylus. We're gonna use the best pointing device in the world. We're gonna use a pointing device that we're all born with. We're born with ten of them. We're gonna use our fingers."

  • great tutorial

does it have to be an aluminum rod? or can it be those steel pens? I have tons of them lying around

  • @diego10k You can attach a piece of foam to the steel pen temporarily to test it. If it works, it works, if it doesn't, it doesn't.

  • I think Radio Shack just got really cheap; they don't have any of the form on their chips anymore.

  • *foil not foiled.......lol

  • Hey that doesn't look too bad given it's homemade! Looks way better than others made from old pens, foiled and wire! lol

  • my finger works too

  • @jeremyculhane but not with gloves

  • Thanks for the video.

Guy below me: he made it himself dummy. You trade in professional looks for a cheap do it yourself option. But if it works it works. Actually it doesn't even look that bad.

  • That looks very cheep looking. I'd much rather buy a real stylus.

  • Where do you get the aluminum rod?

  • @grafix2c

    Lowes/Home Depot, etc.

McMaster has a 12" length for under $4.

  • @ivansdaddy

leave it to ivansdaddy, from what I hear he really knows how to work a rod.
