i had gotten this phone when it first came out for sprint... had it for 2 days and traded it in for the mogul which was slightly better with texting. then i eventually got the holy grail lol-iphone

yes but it is rarely used because the touch interface is meant for both the finger and the stylus and most people lose or prefer not to use it for some reason.

True. There is no Wifi on CDMA htc touch's. CDMA would include Sprint,verizon,bell..etc.

If you purchase the the GSM HTC Touch then u can have wifi so this would be companies like AT&T, Cingular , T-Mobile. Only problem is that the GSM model is much slower with a 200mhz processer and the cdma comes with 400mhz

i used a program called battery status google it, i dont know if they still have it cuz it was a while back. if they dont, keep google ing overclock the cpu until u find a reliable program but if u overclock it too much, ur phone could end up bricked

This one. Since it's Windows mobile, the same OS runs on multiple phones and therefore there are apps that you can download and run on it. :)

the sprint isnt a GSM version its CDMA. But the guy reviewing this phone doesnt know much because their is a big difference in the hardware between the two. The GSM has a 200mhz cpu and the CDMA (sprint, Verizon and other US) has a 400mhz cpu. But this things outdated anyways

um, i cant remember all the differences bc ive had my htc touch for over 6months but one thing i do remember is that sprint removed the wifi option from these phones. to be honest, this phone is a little outdated compared to other htc phones. this phone has been out since last november. i would recommend the htc touch diamond pro with internet speeds up to 8mps and with 2(yes 2!) 5megapixel digital cameras. it is still a great phone though. better than iphone as far as capabilities

There is trouble playing YouTube videos on my Touch. Only the HTC Touch cruise has WIFI. Search the HTC Touch CDMA on phonescoop and look under connectivity and that will anser your question.

why do you keep complaining about how difficult it is to use your fingers in some areas. it comes with a styles its kinda funny when you say that "when typing in a word your finger covers up the surrounding keys and your not quite sure if you pressed the correct one" well if you used the styles that would not happen ,,,it is designed to be used with a styles not your fingers ...the i phone was designed to be used with your fingers hence no styles even though it still could use one..

Not to be a hatter, but this phone is horrible. I am not an Apple fanboy, but the iPhone completely blows this thing out of the water. In terms of features this phone has it, but the iPhone just implements the features it has so much better. My ex used to work in a phone shop and going from iPhone back to Windows Mobile really shows how clunky Windows Mobile is which is not really HTC's fault and they have tried but it is still Windows Mobile.
