I loved the painting I was well impressed, would of liked to have seen the final finish on it actually, I'm planning on taping up my Xbox elite and giving it a Silver pray with a green Peace sign.. I don't see the point in buying modded kitted out xBox's that cost two times more than the original but do the same. ^^ Thumbs up to you two for doing such a good job... oh and FYI... it's a she.. not a he.<3

Wouldn't suggest doing this unless its on a controller or faceplate if all else fails get a colored case to mess around with or a skin but before doing this make a plan on paper so you know what its going to look like.

okey for 1... even though your not spray painting... you should have taken it appart this  would have voided the warrentee BUT.... YOU PAINTING OVER THE COOLING HOLES IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WORTH IT... or you could have taped them off.... the reason u take it appart is so stuff like that doesnt happen mening your thick paint leaking into the cooling holes are blocking causing more heat to stay in side therefore more heat= ROD... melting the thermal glue that holds your mother board together...

if u do this make sure u remove the hard drive because u can damage the hard drive by painting over it then all ur data will be lost unless its an xbl account then u can just recover it after u have another hdd

No look when at the beginnig. She put some adhesive-paper in front of the aeration hole. Like that, she doesn't paint them so when she finish, she only have to remove the adhesive ^^

@iani103 Ah. RROD happens when your motherboard fries, in other words, it overheats which if happens too often, will burn your motherboard. You can prevent it by:

Purchasing some external fans that mount onto it.

Don't leave your xbox on for no reason.

Just those 2 and you are fine! I got my xbox 2 years ago and it's still fine after lots of use :D Not sure what a Jasper Chipset is, is it like a JTag or something?

The fan module thing would plug into the back of the 360 where the power cord would plug into. THe power cord would then plug into the fan module and would also send power to the xbox 360 as well as the fans. It's not necessary but it can reduce RROD chances.

@iani103 Modded controllers have nothing to do with the actual 360, they just look and perform so much better! And Jtagging does enable Homebrew, and you can download anything on the marketplace free. Oh and you can create 10th / 15th lobbies (I think, haven't tried that yet).

i custom paint xbox 360's ps3's wii's comp' labtops and various other things here in chicago... by using acrylics, it causes the paint to heat up and crack even with the clear coating.. so dont paint with acrylics... i use to do it .. but i got complaintsfrom costumer for redues.. so no i paint with oils.. I do great work.. my work has been aquired in many galeries here in chicago... but if one is interested.. let me know i dont charge too much its cheap...

@ VincentBProductions There are like 2 sets of air hole plates, the first are on the outside which you see all the time and then inside there the 2nd plate of holes as well and just below them is the hard drive. Now im not saying the Xbox is screwed since she was using a paint brush but there is still a chance.
