I actually had a comic book adaptation of this long before I had ever seen the movie. The comic book was better!

This movie is film is part of a 50 movie Sci-Fi classic DVD set. I watched it today along with "Kong Island", which is also part of the Sci-Fi DVD set.

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" is far from the best movie ever made, but it's better than "Kong Island" and more entertaining.

This film isn't THAT bad, certainly not warranting the title of 'Worst Film Ever'. Sure, the polar bear looked overly crappy and the forced laughter was grating but I'd still rather watch this than 'Battlefield Earth' or some dog shit spoof movie like 'Meet the Spartans' any day.

To me it's got that naive 50s/early 60s charm about it, which I still love. Damn you Fallout games for making me this way.

I found this movie a few days ago on VHS in a thrift store for $0.99. I had never heard of it. It rocks. And I just saw it referred to as one of the worst movies ever made. B.S. In fact, production values are much better than you'd expect. As is much of the acting. It's entertaining, for sure.

I gotta find that, MST3K was the best, next movie I'm watching with the high schoolers is the 1984 classic- "Iceman" starring Timothy Hutton. It's a cheesy movie in which they take a more serious poke at reviving a caveman frozen in ice, unlike Encino Man, lol.
