It's actually not that hard... I got a new spore disc after mine was scratched for a year- about a day ago. I'm friends with them, got to the galactic core, got the dance with the devil badge, and all that stuff.

@DoneRightProductions So, I hope to be clear.. If I defeated the Grox, I didn't it to publish a stupid video on youtube.. There are many ways to play a game, for me was boring extend the kingdom, I searched a way to defeat the Grox that did't force me to attack every single planet, I found it, and initially was fun, of course it became repetitive after, but like all Spore.. Spore was a good idea but too ripetitive. so sorry but I didn't play 24 hours a day, and when it bored me I uninstalled it

@Scoapimp when i try to defeat the Grox some systems were unreachable.. i tried to defeat them in clean way, but at the end of the battle 20-30 Systems were impossible to defeat (search on youtube Spore unreachable systems) , it was a bug that was resolved only after with a patch.. so i used a mod for the range to reach these systems.. in another my video "Spore: the Grox destroy " the game is clean..

@Scoapimp Yes it can from the moment you actually reached the core. Then you actually also acquire the "creator" ability which makes you able to terraform a planet all the way to T3 at once and that for something like 35 times.

in case you haven`t found out, it instantly terraforms a planet wich i recommend using on planets with rare spices that isn`t colonisable (or to take out grox bases fast)

but you only have 42 in ammo so i don`t advise it for battling grox. i prefer to use it to colonise purple spice planets

actually it gives you 200- friend points which is more than 2 times worse than using planet buster and the whole galaxy get to know in seconds. WOW stories spread like crazy in Spore. i got to the core without allying them so i don`t have to worry. the stupid thing is, you don`t get a ride back out so you`l have a hard time getting out. personaly, i won`t advise allying grox. without a mod, they cannot be fully defeated either

Easy way to defeat the grox:

step 1: Get terraforming tools

step 2: terraform a grox planet

step 3: they died

step 4: terraform all of the grox planets!

@aaz278 no, I thought such a thing, but nothing happens, it's as if I had not done anything .. even when you start a new game with another race, there is the mission 'search Grox', but there are not Grox .. Spore is a game with many bugs and very incomplete, it is very nice idea, but it has too many gaps
