  • Coming soon to a movie theatre near you, "Rorshach stops a rape" the sequel to the box offiice smash hit, "Horton hears a who."

  • NOT

  • AWESOME HOW RORSCHACH VIDEOS ARE ALLOWED TO BE POSTED ON FACEBOOK.. I THINK THE GOVERNMENT DOESNT LIKE HIM MUCH

  • This is in the directors cut, a much better movie!

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone of us could be a Rorschach. Under this mask could be your face.

  • @ProperMuzik

    haha sucks for you

  • I stopped a rape once. I just went on home...

  • dammit, they shoulda shown how rorschach fucked this guy up

  • For those of you who saw the movie and didn't read the Graphic Novel. There's one part of a rape early on before he became Rorschach. A women was being raped in the first level of his apartment building. With all the onlookers, NO ONE HELPED and NO ONE CALLED THE POLICE. SOME OF THEM EVEN WATCHED!. SOME OF THEM EVEN WATCHED! Why didn't they put that in the movie? That was partly the beggining of how he started to have a diffrent way of looking at humanity. You guys should read the Graphic Novel.

  • @viciousclan yea that and the part where get got the mask...

  • @viciousclan The saddest thing about that is that was based on a real life event, the Kitty Genovese murder.

  • @viciousclan Where can I read it?

My lazy ass has wanted to for months but i can't be bothered to look for it

  • @viciousclan

hell yea the comic is ten times better. great thing to read on a rainy night. makes me want to put on a mask of my own and guard my surroundings haha

  • RoboCop would've just shot that fool in the crotch and smugly walked away.

  • It would have been more realistic if the rapist was black.

  • @EI02G Now that's a lie

  • My favorite scene...^_^b

  • That's it?

  • Batman ain't got nothin' on him.

  • police should be like rorschach and also TAKE THAT BATMAN YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOUR ENEMIES

  • @carbon5146 Tim Burton's batman did

  • Comment removed

  • killing and murder are different in the first place

  • The video ended before Rorschach raped that guy.

  • @erislaton lol you made my day

  • @erislaton What kind of person thinks like that?

  • I have decided to hire Jackie Earle Haley to follow me around everywhere I go and narrate every action I do.

  • Rorschach reminds me of Batman but way much cooler.

  • @messiha666 i think nite owl may be a little bit more like batman. with the money and technology and their symbol being a night flying creature. but i see what you mean.

  • ironically, it's so sexy when he says "from lust"

  • good thing the video ended right there,...cause Rorshach was about to beat the shit outa that dude

  • Halo announcer: SHOWSTOPPER!

  • a mental patient who hates crime, perfect

  • Amo a este pequeño psicópata.

  • I'm still curious as to how he disposed of a man with a gun who was several meters away from him..

  • @TheChaotician

    Easy, he's Rorschach.

  • @TheChaotician I think it was a knife

  • @overflouh Hmm. Yeah, it looks like it after reading the novel, heh heh.

  • @TheChaotician In the comic he uses a cloth, and I think he strangles him. Rorschach is that badass.

  • I don't remember this scene from the film. Is it a deleted scene of some sort?

  • @Javownzu

It was in the directors cut edition.

  • Aaaah, Rorschach graduated from the Christian Bale Vocal Academy I see.

  • @Cookster5 christan bale cant pull it off though. haley makes it sound good!

  • He wanted to die he was the Death seeker/ Atoner in th emovie thats why the night is generous to him as the man puts the gun to him

  • roshack isbloddy awsome

  • And then Rorschach proceeds to rape him.

  • ........my favorite scene from the graphic novel.

  • When push comes to shove:

never compromise, even in the face of Armageddon.

  • i wonder what would've happened if he ran in on The Comedian's rape.

  • @TheSuirad .....no mor comdian!??!!

  • @TheSuirad that would have been the day a comedian died

  • @TheSuirad he was still a child then

  • @TheSuirad

They're would be one less Watchman?

  • @TheSuirad All the same unless nite owl was in the area to stop Rorshach from 'killing' the Comedian.

  • @TheSuirad the comedian would have destroyed him by winking

  • @TheSuirad Very interesting question! I think Rorschach would've initiated a fight, but ... ultimately, against The Comedian, I think he would've lost.

  • @XanderHarris88 yeah the comedian is pretty big. i still dont know how ozzy beat him.

  • @TheSuirad

Being big means very little in a fight. Of course you have the advantage of reach but ultimatly in my experience (3 yrs karate, 5 yrs boxing and 6 yrs and counting as a nightclub doorman) speed and technique are the most important factors in any fight strength helps but it's not very important and in any case size isn't always an indication of strength.

  • @mattymatt1987 so ozzy won over speed?

  • @TheSuirad

It's hard to say given that it is a fictitious fight, but yes i would guess so. He is considered both the world's fastest and most intelligent man. Those attributes make him one hell of an oppenent. If he can't beat you with his speed he'll outsmart you.

  • @TheSuirad Excellent question. This has been debated, and we're pretty sure that the universe would explode from awesomeness.

  • he should have said: cockblock, haha!

  • he keeps his costume in a dumpster... no wonder why he stinks

  • Is this from the directors cut or deleted scenes or something because I don't remember this from the movie?

  • Coward rapists....animals that need to be put down without hesitation. Frat boys with their roofies to the shit you see with switchblades and guns, they should be shot cuz they're nothing but some of the worst life has to offer. Kill them all I say.

  • @theQuestion626 These are the words and thoughts of a fascist. Take another look in the mirror.

  • @xtatictimes4ever True, but sometimes if one's not willing to be reasoned to act accordingly to certain rules (ex. Rorschach's view - good = life; evil = punishment OR death), then usually the other alternative is to force one to act accordingly.

  • Too bad we don't get to see the twisted things he did to that rapist...

  • his mask is so odd...isnt he human???

  • @gokory Yes, he is human. In his secret identity Rorschach once worked as a tailor and dressmaker. He was hired by a wealthy lady to make her a dress out of a new material which featured black and white designs which moved and swirled about it (One of the many inventions of Dr. Manhattan, whose discoveries were sold by his government retainers to fund him.).

When the lady came to pick up the dress, she refused to pay for it, so he eventually made it into his mask.

  • @EmperorofCartoons wow did you get that all from the movie? a book? or is it a load of bullshit to make yourself sound good?

  • @gokory Its in the novel.... why the smart ass attitude from someone who just answered your question

  • @gokory Its in the novel... why the bad attitude towards someone who took the time to answer your question?

  • @EmperorofCartoons you didnt have to tell me twice man all I asked was if it was a load of bullshit aka are you lieing.

  • @gokory yeah its from the graphic novel. though by looking at your attitude your too dumb to read!

  • @digioverlord and your an asshole. children read graphic novels dude most adults read books that actually have a few full sentences in them so fucking chill besides am I supposed to read the books of every movie based on books???

  • @gokory Oh... I could have sworn that Watchmen was not only a graphic Novel specifically aimed at adults, but also one of the most acclaimed pieces of literature of all time. Silly me, I suppose being amongst the Top 100 Novels by Time Magazine's definition means nothing to you. No, I'd call you out as being ignorant to a form of media. Don't be like that.

  • @Gamechild951 That is by far one of the greatest piece of literature I have read. When my friend introduce me to it, I was like "comic books?" why do I wanna read that? It is great just great! Thank you for educating that gokory fella.

  • I don't remeber seeing this part on the movie

  • I want to give him a hug

  • Does anyone else think Rorshach is kind of like Dr. Sheldon Cooper with a REALLY bad attitude?

    So it's just me then...

  • @ishtarg8 pretty much, I don't even know who that guy is?

  • @asianmami49 He's one of the characters in Big Bang Theory. The tall gawky theoretical physicist from east Texas who's not insane, (his mother had him tested) but is none the less a serious wackadoodle.

I assumed a crossover audience. Clearly I was mistaken.

Sorry to have taken up everyone's time. I'll get my coat.

  • ppl who cares whether its a "comic" or a "graphic novel" what the hell? this is the movie anyway not the FUCKING "comic" or "graphic novel"!

  • what a twisted fuck rorschach is

  • this is how Christian Bale should've done his Batman voice in TDK:D

    not overdone

  • obviously rorschach killed the guy, but how if the guy had a gun?

  • @Her0ofCha0s94 Well, knowing Rorschach, I doubt it would have made any difference.

  • Why the fuck didn't you show the rest?!

  • the way Rorschach calls the mask "my face" and the ginger guy a disguise, reminds me of the bruce wayne/batman dyanamic, the way that bruce wayne is a guise, and Batman is the true persona. Alan Moore's a clever man

  • I thought Watchmen was a Comic Book, isn't it a Graphic Novel

  • @codafett Yes. It was first a 12 chapter graphic novel, and is the only graphic novel to be listed in Time's top 100 novels.

  • @achuonutube COMIC BOOK

  • @polkafrenzy666 I'm just a messenger of the way it's classified! Lol, that's what my English teacher called it.

  • @polkafrenzy666 GRAPHIC NOVEL!!!!!!!!!, comics are small little stories with no real depth or thought, just cartoons on paper, a GRAPHIC NOVEL is a well thought out piece of literature with depth and meaning that is accompanied by graphic illustrations, you see the difference, batman + watchmen are graphic novels, garfield and spiderman are comics

  • @thehatterBlogs No, Graphic Novel is a poncey term used by people like yourselves who are insecure about liking comics. To quote Alan Moore "It's a marketing term ... that I never had any sympathy with. The term 'comic' does just as well for me." Neil Gaiman was once told that he doesn't write comics, he writes graphic novels... " I felt like someone who'd been informed that she wasn't actually a hooker; that in fact she was a lady of the evening."

  • @edmundog no, when people think of comics they assume that its for children and that nothing adult can be possibly created from it or taken seriously, graphic novels tend to be more adult and more graphic, like for instance rorschach brutally murdering the child killer in the watchmen novel, thats more violent then most films combined , if that had been a comic it would have not been allowed because its too violent for children , but in an GRAPHIC NOVEL, its acceptable because its for adults!!!

  • @thehatterBlogs See what I mean? It''s a marketing term, and you've fallen for it hook, line, and sinker. But by all means, if you think you know better than Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Dan Clowes, Craig Thompson, Art Speigelman, Diamond Comics Distributors...

  • @thehatterBlogs umm quit doing your crack man it doesnt fucking matter

  • @codafett its a comic, calling it a graphic novel is like calling a garbage man a sanitation engineer

  • There were a lot of things I could complain about when it comes to that movie, but neither Rorschach or the Comedian were one of them. Spot on performances! Now, about the guys playing Ozy and Silk Specter...

  • When was this scene???? I don't recall seeing this part.

  • Rorschach The Maniacal Vigilante......he's one of the only ones with any heart.

  • "There was something rewarding in his eyes..... Sometimes the night is generous to me." Sometimes the simple pleasures in life are the best!

  • Oh damn. I just thumbs upped Stranglestrong. I meant to do the opposite.

    This will embolden him...

  • Give you 1000 thumbs down? 1000 negative comments?

    Alright. :)

  • Rorsach was so badass....he and The Comedian were hands down the bombest heroes ever!

  • @Ilovemywhiteboy I prefer Rorschach, the Comedian was an antihero. Apparently, all he knew was to burn people and rape women. He deserved to die as he did.

  • @DarthObilivion Hey if I were Manhattan I would have vaporized his ass as soon as he shot the Vietnamese woman and then tried to pass the buck with the whole "YOU could have stopped it" shit.

  • @leekenobi21 Me too! I wouldn't put up with such a guy like the Comedienne just shooting people because he's pissed off.

  • In the comic, it's implied he strangles the rapist/mugger to death.

  • is this movie as violent as the novel?

  • @downwier yup, almost

  • What version is this scene in? I have the Director's Cut, but I don't remember this scene being in it. Is this from the latest, really long version?

  • "sometimes the night is genourous to me"

well i guess rorschach enjoys being a psycopath!

  • who woldent?

  • @wantsomecake328 or beating up low-lifes. whatever floats your boat. :)

  • @wantsomecake328

Sociopath actually but yes you're right, he does enjoy it.

  • @wantsomecake328

He kills rapists. The world needs more psychopaths like him.

  • @leekenobi21 You're right

  • @wantsomecake328 The point is, he is the opposite of psychopath.

  • @Ko252 How so? He's a total sociopath.

  • @facecycle No, he isnt. If you watch the scene with the psychiatrist (to your right with the title watchment -Best of Rorschach), you will understand that the reason he does these things, is because he feels the need to. He also have a lot of empathy to the victims. He sees everything as right or wrong, and he will do almost everything to make things right.

  • @Ko252 I think people try to complicate the issue too much. Things are simply right, and wrong. There is no pro-rape, no pro-mugging, no pro-murder argument. If there is, I'd love to hear it!

  • @nate556 I dont agree. Of course there is; is it for instance okey to mugg to provide supplement for a hospital in Darfur? Would be wrong to kill a massmurderer that would set of a bomb killing all life on earth?

  • @Ko252 Killing a murderer isn't wrong (it's not the same as murder, since it's self defense), mugging to provide for a hospital is wrong. Pretty simple. If you can't see the difference between killing a murderer, and killing some random person... then I dunno what to tell ya.

  • @nate556 Wrong. Killing a murderer is murder, since it is only called self-defence, if he is trying to kill you. And what if, it is his psychosis that make him kill? Why is mugging to provide for a hospital wrong? Take for instance Robin Hood. Was he wrong (if the tail about him is true)? What about cannibalism? If you cant understand that everything is subjective, and there is no objective morality, then I dont know what to tell you either.

  • @Ko252 Explain to me how killing a murderer, or a rapist, is wrong ? And psychosis is no excuse. If that's they are murderers and rapists for any reason: they should be shot. Mugging for a hospital is wrong because: you put someone in the hospital you are trying to fund. You don't hurt someone to take what they have: for any reason. Robin Hood didn't ambush random people: he was fighting the political opponents of King Richard.

  • @nate556 What if he killed someone that murdered his best friend? Of course psychosis is an excuse. Do you even know what it is? What about people with mental retardation? What about children killing; let us say a 5 year old? You dont have to put someone in the hostpital to mug them. You just have to scare them to give away their belongings. And Robin Hood did ambush and steal, not only fighting the political opponents.

  • @Ko252 What if aliens invade and enslave all our cows, and then great Cthulu rises from the fallen city of Ryleh and warps the very frabric of reality and turns all reds into greens, and forces cats and dogs to mate ?

    What if's are pointless.

Psychosis and retardation: if they go around raping and murdering people, they should be shot. Doesn't matter if they can "help it" or not. The fact that they cant makes them more of a threat.

  • @nate556 What if's are far from pointless. What if's clarify the relentless possibilities of reality, and your bastant one-size-fit-all is on the verge of stupid and short-sighted. Why? Because everything is relative. The morality of society has always changed and always will, and different societies see things differently. There is no superior morality. In many buddhists' eyes, killing is wrong regardless. Who are you to say they are wrong? Both psychosis and retardation can be helped,

  • @nate556 but you rather want them be killed, than treated. Nice.

  • @Ko252 death is the only treatment.

  • @nate556 Wow. I bet you think the same, when it is you or some of your loveones that is in the given situation.

  • @Ko252 I bet you'd think the same when it's you, or some of your loved ones that get murdered.

  • @nate556 I guess I want be thinking that much, if somebody kills me, will I? Did you even understand what you wrote, or is that your thing, to barge out with something stupid?

  • @Ko252 So, you dont care if someone murders you, or a loved one ?

  • @nate556 Again. Do you even understand what you write? Let me ask you the same thing, would you care if somebody murders you? Hmm...how can you care if you are dead? Or do you have the experience of dieing? If one of your loved ones killed someone in psychosis, would you then kill him/her off? The point is the same. Regardless of what you think, morality is subjective.

  • @Ko252 Yes, I do care if someone murders me, and I care if someone murderes someone I love. And if someone I loved was psychotic and went around raping and murdering people: I'd kill 'em off.

  • @nate556 Seriously, this is waste of both our times. We just have to agree on disagreeing.

  • @wantsomecake328 At least he put it to good use.

  • I'll have to see the Director's cut

  • Awesome scene, thanks for posting! But why can't we embed it? =(

  • was this a deleted scene? I dont remember this from the theatrical cut

  • Yep, thought it was in the comic....

  • It wasn't in the comic because Rorschach had an apartment and left his stuff there, in the movie he is portrayed as a homeless man.

  • It's in the comic, dickbutt. Half the dialogue in this scene is lifted straight from it.

  • Don't get your panties in a bunch. Simple mistake.

  • Stupid mistake.

  • I think they did a great job with the film, but watchmen would have been much better as a mini-series, like how the lost tv show works. you have plenty of time to cover everything on a tv slot vs the allowed amount of time in a film.

  • if it was all the same actors and had the same grit then it would have been one of the best mini series ever

  • i think its an extended scene found on the Director's Cut, i have the regular version and the scene isn't on there but I love this scene from the comic.

  • Rorschach's mask comes from a dress made by Dr. Manhattan for a lady by the name of Kitty Genovese. She didn't like it, refused to buy it and threw it away. Rorschach thought differently and used it as his mask.

  • Manhattan didnt make it Rorschach did.

  • Dr. Manhattan didn't make the dress:

the fabric the dress was made of was developed with techniques that were discovered by Dr. Manhattan's experiments.

It was probably one of Walter Kovac's co-workers who made the dress out of the fabric, but Walter took it home, cut it and remade it into his "face"

  • how does his mask do that?

  • In the book i think he says he found a double layered fabric containing ink that reacts to heat changes. Also its a good reference to his namesake (rorschach tests, which use ink blots to analyse someone's personality and state of mind. which his mask is supposed to resemble)

  • no some lady made it as clothing and then he found the clothing after the woman was killed and he used it to make his mask

  • I did say he FOUND the fabric right? but ty for correcting me (i havent seen the film or finished the book yet so i dont know everything yet)

  • oh, lol, srry. U just didnt include the lady who made the fabric. Enjoy the book! :D

  • cause it has magic powers

  • he means that the man was scared wich rewarded Rorschach, the was genourus becuase he gave Rorschach a chance to do some good

  • i don't get what rorschach means by seeing something rewarding in the rapist's eyes and the night being generous to him.
