I feel bad. I sort of like WVU, but they aren't naturally good without a great coach. They have no recruiting base. As long as Rich Rod was there, they were fine. It's just reality. Stewart was a poor hire; a knee-jerk reaction.
As for VT, they are one of only three times to play in bowls the past 15 years with Florida and Florida State, with 5 of those being BCS (or equivalent) bowls including a win against Texas. VT has won the most games in college football the past 10 yrs.

Fuji, If WVU maintains their current level of success, then I'll concede your point, but I just think they did well only because of Rich Rod and his recruits which spilled into this year.
I also concede that the Vick brothers aren't of the highest character, but the weren't recruited to be choir boys.
As for Cin, I don't take them for granted at all. This is a down VT team. It's amazing they even got to a BCS game this year. VT lost three starters. Not at all sure they'll win.

The BCS was started in 1998. Google it Yahoo it, whatever. That was 13 years ago. WV has won two BCS bowl games in the last 4 years. 4 straight bowls with Pat White. Steve Slaton is doing well in Houston. Pat White will be a great NFL player (kick returner/reciever). My NFL team is Denver and Id like to thank VT for Eddie Royal. He is a great reciever and I hope he stays healthy cause hes a beast.
