The original The Sweet were Brian Connoly,died in 1997 from liver and kidney failure,too much booze.Mick Tucker who was the drummer,died in 2002 from Leukemia.Steve Priest,who was the bassist,also formed another version of the band sweet.Steve lives in Los Angeles.Steve was the one had that wore the really outrageous costumes and most of the heavy makeup.They dressed that way because ppl called them queer and they decided to take it to the edge by going exreme.None of them are or ever were gay.
