  • the persian empire had over 1,000 countries helping them fight the war against 1 greek army in B.C. but the greeks won. And im afraid it sounds like the same thing is going to happen in this war.

  • this film is bad made... theyre showing the russian army like a bunch of idiots yelling, but in real life theyre one of the most powerful armys in the world.

  • @OmGoLaToR456 hahhahaha dude thats because why thy lost the war the soviet army in afgtanistan in the 80s was enything but an army !

  • @OmGoLaToR456 you've never been in a war son. Lol. This is pretty damn accurate exept for the idiotic talaban. No one walks up to you in war. They hide and shoot you in the face.

  • @OtherSideOfArgument have you ever bin in a war?

  • @OmGoLaToR456 Yeah. 105th fuckin rangers son. Rangers lead the way.

  • Fuck you Ouija121085 all those "comie drunkards u talk about will kick ur ass any day u ugly bitch. my dad was in that war and he kicked ass so shut up

  • pramo sami luche film

  • This is why we fucking love russians!

  • The major difference between the Afghan people and russians (ignoring the fact that russians have better weapons) is courage. this video clearly shows how much courage the Afghans have, it is what toppled the outcome of the war back then and it will determine the outcome of the war against 150 countries currently in Afghanistan.

  • @AFGblad3Z That is not courige that is mass hysteria made by sucking on heroin and smoking of morphine which makes them unable to understand that they are gonna die. Same thing they used in bosnia and kosovo to "gain strenght" they would smoke heroin or get drugged with andrenaline and become easy targets because they did not know what they are doing. Its not the courige its stupidity.

  • @Ouija121085 Did you hear about the current attack on foreign soldiers? 1 talib dead, 3 Afghan soldiers dead, 29 foreign soldiers dead 13 of them were US soldiers. 1 talib life for 32 american puppets, I guess the drugs really worked. Your really believe that the so called 150 countries currently in Afghanistan can win the war? If thats what you believed, then your are mistaken bro. Your own govenments have admitted to gained nothing but lose of lives and $.

  • @AFGblad3Z You hear a lot more of 40 Taliban dead and 3 US dead than you do that. Actually I have NEVER heard that report. Link please?

  • @AFGblad3Z Gorby's plan to bring troops home and the end of communism was the ONLY reason behind Soviet 'defeat'.

  • @zipacna1980 gorby was left with no other choice but to pull the last living soldiers and that was his best move.

  • @AFGblad3Z Oh, yeah:) The main idea is it was planned in 1985 to withdraw by 1989. Resistance wasn't a factor behind it. BTW, if both Soviets or NATO really wanted to defeat A-stan they could do it without breaking a sweat.

I bet you haven't learn't any real facts of these conflicts in your Jihad academy.

  • @zipacna1980 you are bringing me back to my first comment. Only pussies use weapons of mass destruction, ie USA during WW2. That is the only reason why they are called super powers and the only reason your race can survive. If we would have been fighting with just AK47s, the Afghan-russian war would have ended in 1979 & the war with usa would have ended in 2001. Your weapons are your courage, they are your lives, they are the reason why ur alive. BTW WHY WOULD SOME1 WITHDRAW FROM WAR?

  • @AFGblad3Z You have to learn geopolitics. Afghan-Soviet war wasn't even a war in it's traditional sence. At least not a total war waged to 'win'. And still they haven't lost a single battlke. As for both Soviets and NATO you got me wrong. They could won without any WMD. All they need is to upgrade ROE to drop their fight ethics and adopt a barbarian tactics of their opponents.

  • @zipacna1980 Thats the whole point, they just can't adopt that barbaric fighting style. And as far as the war goes, it was totally meant to be won. Afghanistan was the leaping board for communism in Asia. It is in the center of Asia, and taking over Afghanistan meant the beginning of communism in Asia and the a message for USA (end of liberalism) during the Cold War. Russo-japanese war lasted 1 year, first victory over russia during the 2oth century and that was only the beginning.

  • @AFGblad3Z If they aren't adopted barbarian tactics it is by choice, my friend. Trust me you won't like to have all out war with europeans. As soon as they are to become serious it is about to remove their opponents from a gene pool. You just have to study history to learn it. Check american conquest, world wars etc. There weren't any WMD to make most damage. BTW, communism in Asia was alive and well long before 1979.

  • @zipacna1980 I know my history AND your history bro. In 1800s when Britain tried to invade Afghanistan with guns while Afghan matyres fought with swords, we pretty much kicked their little butts all the way back to where they came from. I already know about the american way of cleaning gene pool, you know ruin their economy, kill the elders, make orphans or kill them, something that they tried to do during vietnam & failed, now in progress in Iraq, vietnam's history is repeated in Afghanistan

  • @zipacna1980 And as far as am concerned, courage is not dirt, it is not something that you can just pick up. It is something that you are born with or something that you build over your entire life. FYI Afghanistan has been in war for 3 decades now

  • @zipacna1980 You sir are an idiot. Go to school, quit racially discriminating people and man up.

  • @MymemoryisRAM Liberals in sight?:) What have you seen about race here?

  • @AFGblad3Z Cause there suicidal why do think so many blow themselves up for Allah..There like the Samurai they greet death every day..Also I believe the Russians in WWII charged German machine gun nests like this

  • Comment removed

  • @AFGblad3Z True true

  • @AFGblad3Z Not courage. Mindless brain washed idiots that are told that dying for anything is better than living for something.

  • Comment removed

  • @lookb3hindu1 If I come to your house with gun and order you to leave your house because from then on, it will be mine for free, and if you say anything about it or feel that am invading your rights, then your an IDIOT!"

  • @AFGblad3Z And the afhani brother are fighting for la ilaha ila lah

  • @TheMohamedroudani yeah we born with Allah's command and we die in Allah's name

  • @damiion666 shut ur F****n mouth you idiot!!Id like to see you go to afghan...oh wait your 2 busy on typing on the computer while shoving hodtogs in ur mouth

  • @upcommingnady Show some respect, I don't know what country you're from but you shouldn't be stereotyping Americans like that.

  • WHY IS HOWARD STERN FIGHTING WITH THE MUJAHADEEN???

  • and secondly u knw who destroyed ur chopper in afghanistan killing 21 seal soldiers of seal team 6 it was a covert ops done by our special forces to take revenge from white shit american for illegaly entering Pakistan and killing osama remember the stingers u gave to us against soviets we will use them against u

  • whats with the asian guy lol

  • @bloodndestroy he's a Kazakh. Kazakhs are descendants of the Mongols and the Chinese, hence the Asian facial features (small eyes, dark hair)

  • who knows the song on the party at the begining

  • @SuperHonda53 song: "Недотрога" - Владимир Пресняков (младший)

  • i mean its a dam Russian movie at least make the soldiers seem competant a lil bit... like hitting the broad side of a barn and maybe not screaming like maniacs non stop .

  • im going to have to agree with zira here...thas a 12.7 mm mg up there...plus freak knows how many ak and granades. while the afgans advance like the british up Bunker hill. If the afgans fought like this they would have lost 1,000,000 people by the end of the first month much less in 8 years of war.

  • whats the name of 0:21

  • Two well positioned machine guns would have ripped apart any stupid attack like this. To attack a fortified defender on top only from one side in a broad mass without heavy infantry weapons??? Luckily, both sides in this movie lack aiming, otherwise this scene would have been finsihed very soon.

  • what im wondering is how the hell the talibans got russian weapons..really how the fuck?

  • @Marinemauro There are many foreign interested involved in every war, arms dealers, foreign nations, small tribes, even the some greedy Soviet officers or arms makers who sell the guns to the Muj for the hereon that is harvested there.

First off the USA wanted to make Russia lose, so we provided the Muj with arms (look up Charlie Wilson). With our backing of them the Muj were able to finally deal with the deadly Soviet Mil Mi-24. The only reason they didn't get their asses kicked completely.

  • @Marinemauro ------------->by bribing corrupt Soviet storekeeps / quartermasters with opium / heroin or w/ hard cash.

  • @Marinemauro People's Republic of China gave the Muj Type 59 tanks, Type 68 assault rifles, Type 56 assault rifles, Type and 69 RPGs. US Special Ops and the CIA equpped the Muj with LAWs and Stingers. British SAS even trained and provides targets for them to shoot down Soviet helicopters easily. Pakistan, Egpyt, and Saudi Arabia even shelter and funded the Muj with money and shelter.

They are many nations even some communist countries support the Muj against the USSR during the Cold War.

  • in reality there died only 6, this movie shows there died 50 russians and 1 survived

  • actually in real life only 6 died, not most of them

  • bla, bla, bla ... you could go there! "And see that you did ...

  • The best people in this movie are: Pinochet, Kubashi and Afanasy, fuck stas and the others

  • the hand to hand combat scene towards the end was bullshit, the soviets would have ripped the talibanannas apart!

  • What does Kurbashi yell at 5:56? I catch the world "nelzya" but I can't hear the rest of it.

Chto Kurbashi skazal v 5:56? Ya clyshal 'nelzya', a ya ne mog clyshat' vce.

  • @Deucehound KURBASHI IS THE BEST OF ALL OF THEM!!!

  • @Deucehound

He yells "How many of you could there be?!"

  • @Deucehound "Нельзя их подпускать!..." он кричит.

  • 3:12 love how they just fire and drop the rpgs, realistic.

  • @Frnit go to 6:03 That Muhaideen did the best fight style ever

  • @Frnit i dont think those were RPGs, they look more like LAWs (Light Anti-armor Weapon) because LAWs are a one time use, you can't reload them. most soldiers usually do just throw them down after using them

  • @jerkyman007007 Yes, you are correct. Those are indeed LAW's. It is known that during the Soviet-Afghan war, US Special Forces trained and equpped the Muj with an assortment of Soviet and American weaponry which included Stinger missiles and LAW's.

  • @mrmught u r such a dumb USA only gave dollar to PAKISTANI SPY AGENCY and they trained and recruited the mujahideen Pakistani special forces trained the mujahideen and they also took part in some battels disguised as mujahideen i still remember my father told me that Pakistani 1 commando battalion raped spetnaz in Paktika province in 1988 battle killing 90 spetnaz and SSG losing only 10 thats how strong our special forces are

  • @junaidkhanorakzai Yeah, and I'm sure all the old SF and former Mujahideen guys I know are full of shit... Uh huh... I know plenty of Afghans and Pakistani people who can back up what I am saying.

  • @junaidkhanorakzai Agree. Also, ISI trained "Afghan Islamic extremists" in autonomous regions of Pakistan, from all over the Muslim world as mujahadeens under Hiz Bi Islam commanded by warlord Hektmyter.

Also as I recall, this 9th Co was part of elite airborne regiment that was commanded by Vistrotin, rose from Lt. to Brigadier General by the end of Soviet Afghan war.

  • @HDNighster1 and those damn Pakistanis use our money after the Soviet-Afghan war to create the newly Taliban in 1994 and give led to the rise of Al-Qaeda. Not wonder Bin Laden was hiding in Pakistan for years. They are not our true ally because they were supposed to fight terrorism. Now despite $8 billion aid to Pakistan in our current war on terror, they have not done diddly squat to combat terrorism at all.

  • @publicmario17 fuck u motherfucker ur aid only 8 billion we lost 60 billion on this fucking so called war on terror there is no terrorism in this world apart from jewish made american shit who kills innocent muslims and attack other smaller nations fuck ur constitution and ur courts and fuck UN puppet of jewish GOD BLESS TALIBAN AND FREEDOM FIGHTERS OF AFGHANISTAN

  • @Frnit uhhh yea dumbass the law is a single fire rocket system just like the AT4 there is no need in keeping the empty tube

  • @xmarks97 My original comment was meant to point out the ignored backblast.

  • @Frnit yea it does look kinda ridiculous doesnt it? lol but in reallity the law still doesnt have that much blast back just a little more than that little plume of gas coming out the front of it in this movie.

  • Хуже войныОни не боятся смерти.

  • Хуже войны.

  • Ok on this scene: It was amazingly heroic how the surviving Russian desants just stood up and walked streight into the mujahedeen mass with a battle cry and their got their asses kicked because they were overwhelmed by the sheer number of Afghans, but I completly do not agree on the shootout scene. I mean, wtf, the guy on the dushka and all Russians fired from all weapons on the advancing mass of enemies and only some 2 or 3 guys get hit. What is also redicilious: Noone used the AK GLs

  • @ alllah akhbar and other "afghans|"....Russians lost 15, 000 in 10 yrs.... afghans almost a million....ya keep celebrating bitches

  • death to russia

    death to communism

    death to soviet union

    ALLAHU AKBAR !

  • @AlMujahidaMuslim94 Hey how about no prick. I know what'll devastate the extremist muslims in the future: machines. Wait till they go up against an opponent that has no feelings or fears. It's coming sooner than you all think. The future's here already...

  • Even this scene is offensive.

Afghans go advance open space as in I WW style and they don't took casualties.

Of course russians, welle positioned and armed, are almost annihilated...

I would like to see Putin kicking the director's ass :D

  • @arzente I know right? the soviets lost li 15,000 troops and the towelheds lost over a quarter million

  • @monkeypoo3000

    Sure!

for this reason I've said this movie is unreal.

  • @monkeypoo3000

Actually the # of fighters martyred on side of mujahideen were much lower, the problem is that you idiot kafirs include women and children as combatants too (Russians and Americans.)

  • @akhan71192 so what is the correct body count? would you say something closer to 150,000?

  • Afganistan is a rock on which the greatest arrogance break, the resistance is not uncomprehensible, it is just natural. you against nature, who win?

  • Few know the history: the 9th Company of the 345th Guards Airborne Regiment came under heavy fire on "Hill 3234" on January 7th, 1988. They managed to stop several attacks by an estimated 400 Mujahideen and Pakistani mercenaries and held their position for two gory days. The company lost 6 men, and the remaining 28 of the total 39 were wounded. Two 9th Company soldiers were posthumously awarded the Golden Star medal and the title of Soviet Hero.

  • 0:00-0:52 almost reminds me f public school n South Asia :P

  • the problem now in afghanistan arent the old mujaheedin its the 100.000 arab mercenaries brought to afghanistan by an american organisation called CIA

  • I'm rooting for the Russians in this movie. Unfortunately from a historical perspective I know the outcome. I wish Osama bin Laden took a bullet in the brain from the Kremlin.

  • i hate to say it, this movie looks awesome but it also looks very unrealistic... whats with those Mujahidin marching toward them with massive numbers, it just looks ridiculous. the real fighting was nothing like that, the mujahidin would move tactically and silently and would engage from way farther than that in very long ranges.

  • @wizzzer1337 Search for "battle of hill 3234", that is the final fight in the film. They were attacked by 200-400 mujahedin. The film differs a bit from reality though...

  • @dl7und yeah, the numbers i believe are similar, but in reality 200-400 mujahidin would be VERY spreadout and would never enter a single frame. and just.... they would NOT march like its freaking mordor or something. they would run, take cover, flank... and THAN die.

  • Real 9th Company had fully operating radio through the whole battle.

  • Battle of Hill 3234.

  • noob tubes!!

  • to aleksandhall: get yourself prescription glasses or stop drinking - I wrote "74", not "47". 74 started to become popular only at the end of 80s, when 47 was out of production.

  • @ssm80taurus ...and this film is set in the late 80s. /argument

  • AK 74 was not in service back then. )))

  • @ssm80taurus Yes it WAS.

  • @ssm80taurus Its called the AK-47 because that model was developed in 1947. This war stated in December of 1979. Retarded much?

  • @amper314 too nice...i wouldnt call slaughtering over 2m+ to try and conquer a country too nice...face it the resistance had both a ecomonic and militarily damage on the soviets

  • You, russians have always fought bravely and with dedication towards your country, yes i am an american...god bless

  • Were the talibs on opium in this scene, seriously, who attacks walking in a massed line in the open, did the think they were in a napoleonic battle?

  • WTF come on russians, you just got raped by the taliban!!

  • @ITSbigwillystyle its movie?

  • @Russia309 you did lose the war...you failed to bring communism into afghanistan...you met fierce resistance and were forced to retreat after several hard years of battle

  • Now I know what it looks like to someone who doesnt speak english that watches a movie like Jarhead. The partying looks how could I say it, colorful.

  • They were Mostly regular Pakistani SSG soliders dressed up as Mujahideens.

  • Слава за хероите. Поздрав од Југославија.

  • I dont think that this scene is likely - Afghans being highly effective guerilla fighters would never attack enemy's entrenched lines directly in a crowd - this implies extremely high casualties and is senseless.

  • Alexander the Great (Macedonian) also failed to conquer Avganistan

  • Damnit we should have let the Russians whoop these bitches. Now we have to deal with them.

  • @Valles923 It's a bitch right? equipping the enemies and then you have to deal with them? the irony

  • @Valles923 both you and the russian should of stayed out we fucked the russians and now its your turn.

  • @Valles923 ....no, if you let Russia whoop them, you'd be dealing with Russia now. idiot.

  • @Valles923 Вы потерпите неудачу, как русские суки

  • @Valles923

The movie is all about telling what a huge stupidity is to "try to whoop the bitches".

  • @Valles923 Russians get asswhooped! and alsoo had there AK'S robbed, Now the yanks are crying, soon youl see these lot with M4 carbines loooooooooool!!!

  • @Valles923 The Soviets were only Fighting Taliban, Afghan refugees of Peshawar who were trained by CIA, some drug lords, and Arab volunteers aka Bin Laden. Now u fight them and Pakistani religious extremist, global Jihadi fighters which u call terrorist bla, bla, bla.

  • @Valles923 they cant and u will neither coz afghanistan is controlled by iran and Pakistan unless u dont lick the shoes of these two nation u cant win in afghanistan

  • Comment removed

  • @junaidkhanorakzai Of course he can. A few nuclear warheads can flush whole Iran out of the map. The only thing preventing this is, that no one is insane enough to do it. But who ever said this will never happen?

  • @Valles923 We funded the rebels, and it was for a good cause. It changed the government, and now rebels are trying to fight and bring back the old ways of Afghanistan's government.

  • @tanory07 right, the taliban, which you went back in to conquer all over again.

  • @Valles923 LOL I THINK IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND....THE RUSSIANS GOT THEIR ASSES HANDED TO THEM HAHA!

  • @damiion666 Russians achieved tactical victory in afghanistan, and killed over 3 million mujis during the war. They did this wolrd a great service.

  • @Ouija121085...tactical victory? no such thing ..... Strategic victory then a tactical withdrawal is more like it

  • @arrowmint12 More like a humiliating withdrawal. My tax money to support the mujahadeen well spent

  • @Ouija121085 LOL what does killing 3million afghans have to do with a victory?? All I saw was a bunch of commie drunkards get pwned.

  • @damiion666 You saw a movie you imbecile. Second this film is based on a true story where 39 soldeirs killed over 400 islamic mujiahedeens while they had 6 dead and 28 our of 33 wounded while the mujis finally backed off. To me this says that RUSSIANS KICKED SOME MAJOR FUCKING ASS, and they would kick your inbred fatass if you called them drunked commies faggot!

  • @Ouija121085 ROFL I don't take anything a bunch of drunk commies say too seriously....that's why I'm calling bullshit on this "true story". Were there any combat journalists with them? If so I'd like to read the real story. If not, it's probably mostly made up.

Anyways...since when does enemy body count win wars? I think most of those "mujis" were probably innocent civilians that they wiped out. Soviet commies were known for their brutality.

  • @Ouija121085 Get your history right, 1 million were killed and please don't be a racist, one thing we don't need in this world, and if you were smart you would know that Russia LOST and Muj WON.

  • @MymemoryisRAM Russians achieved tactical victory in afghanistan and left it like US is gonna leave and it will go back to what it has been before.... russians kicked some major ass and mujis are not people...

  • in this film it looks always a little bitlike the mudjahedin are super trained special forces and the russians are untrained

  • @FelixG9 the mujahedeen was well trained...

  • @FelixG9

oh the mudjahedin were very good and they had years of combat-xp.and most of the russian infantry men were drafted rekrutes.

and also the mudh. were equiped and trained bei CIA.

  • Vladimir Presnyakov - "Nedotroga"

  • Фильм супер, в память тем, кто отдал жизнь свою за интересы Родины!!! все те молодые пацаны, вечная им память и навсегда!!!

  • Nice SoundTrack! XD

  • i felt bad for the one drawing the picture. the mood suddenly changed from nice , to sadness.

  • they always show oneside of the story, when the Arab and Afghans lose a man wich are the men defending from the invaders, it is good. When a russian dies, wich is the invader. he is a "hero"

  • just watched yesterday, TBH it is not that bad xD even for an Arab

  • @wav3form and if this film was made in America? what? All the militants would kill the Americans and clapped their hands, the U.S. President, who personally killed the militants? =)

  • I don't really understand your comment. Language barrier I suppose.

The film is Russian, they're going to be pro Russian obviously. You sick liberals need to sack up and realize that the world isn't fair.

  • @wav3form and by thy cho is justice? is when America with its democracy around the world military base poses? or when in Iraq, America soldiers raping girls? I said in comments that the war in Afghanistan for America, just company-Islam does not need democracy

  • @wav3form But in America film? America is always a hero =) and i the end of the film to fly the president =) vsemh and kill the enemy s fire from the ass? ha ha ha =)

  • Yeah, just like the Americans in Vietnam, they came as the invaders and are seen as "heroes" in hollywood movies.

  • а американцы и есть захватчики- типа фашистов- только конец у них будет плачевный =)))))) думаю сгинет войско вмериканское где нибудь-в сибири ))

  • how name of this song when they are celebrating the new yer??

  • It's Vladimir Presnyakov.

  • а кто этот кудрявый дух в темных очках ?

  • это Принц из Персии )))) ))))) ))))

  • yo just to clear shit up. the muj. were fighting in the 80s against the russians. op. cyclone (CIA) provided them with weapons and funds.

after the russians left, the muj. and their operations dept. (the part that provided fundings and shit for themselves) wanted to expand their ops worldwide. hence was born Al Qaeda. the taliban moved in when the muj. were fighting amongst themselves post-89.

  • I'm from afghanistan the muj did not fought against each other some of them went to the taliban

  • well to my understanding, the various warlords were quarreling amongst themselves

  • Tell me please do you like americans or russians? Could Afganistan live in peace?

  • Wich Ppl were fighting at the end it was Afghans them self that defend the holy land of Afghanistan not fukcin Americans not fuckin Pakistani not fuckin British hey man Afghan army are unstoppable

  • yo, you gotta start to use this thing called grammar.

"afghan army" unstoppable? alright son, you believe that.

  • and u can even see rambo helping them there ;)

  • Actually the taliban did exist from the 1980s and was in the war along side the mujahideen. By the way you can't call fighting behind women and children gurerilla warfare. I know their willing to kill themselves wich in its self is quite cowardly if you blow yourself up in a plane or a crowded marketplace. They are too cowardly to fight one on one and have proven to be cowards when fighting against Russian and Western forces. Oh and Im a Californian, my screen name refers to a popular tv show.

  • The taliban didn't exist until after the fall of the communist government in Afghanistan.

It was a group that sought to bring religious rule and order to afghanistan...AFTER the Russians left and chaos reigned for some time.

  • You are wrong! No matter how it's called!

USSR: 10,000 killed soldiers in Afghanistan,

USA: 10, 000 killed soldiers in Afghanistan and the same result. :(((

  • 651 killed, 2,443 wounded

from 2001 to now. Your retarded.

  • Совокупные потери американских войск за все время их пребывания в Ираке и Афганистане составили 18,048 военнослужащих, в том числе 2246 убитыми и 15802 ранеными. (Известия со ссылкой на centcom)
