I ADORE THIS RIDE. I first went to Disney World when I was 5, and I went back in 2009. I am so very blessed in that I am leaving for Disney World tomorrow, to experience the magic again. So excited!

@SelenaGomezFan10001 Ezra is the tall skeletal skinny one. Gus is the short prisoner with the long beard and Phineas is the medium sized traveller with the round face,suitcase and top hat.

@SelenaGomezFan10001 Ezra has always been the hitchhiking ghost from what I can remember, but there may be aa servant named Ezra as well, I'll have to look it up.

The character played by Wallace Shawn in the 2003 movie was named Ezra as a reference. The three Hitchhiking Ghosts appear in the film, hitching a ride in a hearse where Jim Evers (Eddie Murphy) and his children are.

Now I don't think caretakers Emma and Ezra are in the ride, just the movie.

Ours - "WDW" - is actually longer than than the one in DL. Though for years we didn't have the long hall that you guys have after the stretching room; where you see the paintings on the wall and the busts at the far end. But now we do, except ours is actually at the begging of our ride. I like it a lot better that way; it's kind of creepier (when rowdy teenagers aren't talking rudely that is.)

Depends on the ride. Some attractions don't allow video recording but the Haunted Mansion is fine provided you don't use lights or camera Flash.

The audio alone gives this video 5 stars! I rode HM this past January and I noticed that since the refurbishment, the ride audio is also greatly improved. For years, there were parts of the ride where I couldn't hear the "Ghost Host" narration. Now, it's clear from start to finish. Thanks for capturing that very important effect.

The french one is very similar but we don't have the library scene , we don't have the voice along the ride .

The bride of this haunted mansion is not very scary , in Disneyland Paris , our bride is scary , sing an very strange song , we see her three time and you can see her portrait

wow really? ive seen video of phantom manor in paris, and it looks amazing. i especially like the music. it appears that in the paris version, the bride is the victim, being killed by the phantom, but in our american version, the bride is actually the killer, as she has killed her 3 husbands by beheding them.

@artnandez: In the original story of the American Mansions, the bride was the victim of the Mansion's curse. Unfortunately, as cool as she is, the story Constance has--of being a Black Widow Bride who kills her husbands--doesn't work with the original story of the Mansion, since Master Gracy was already dead, having killed himself and leaving his corpse up in the rafters ("There's always my way").

when i first rode this at age 6, it scared the heck out of me. too keep myself occupied and from freaking out too much, i tried to count the number of ghosts to see if there really was 999, but it was a lost cause from the start because i couldn't count higher than 20...

still it was fun the second time i went through becuase at least then i knew i wasn't going to die. what can i say, i was 6 and i believed the disembodied voice.

I used a Sony HDR-SR7 camcorder (2007 model). It has a standard feature called "nightshot" mode for recording dark scenes.

All HD cameras will come with methods/software to import the footage into a video editor. From there its just a matter the rendering the video to a format/resolution that YouTube accepts.

Deserves to be featured. This ride is *very* difficult to video because it's so dark even with "nightshot" mode. My own personal video using "nightshot" is daaaaaarrrrrrk, green, daaaaaarrrk, green, etc. It's not worth watching. I'd love to know how you manage to get the whole ride visible, but I'm sure you want to keep that secret to yourself.

Also, the "ride" feeling is very good. When I watch it, I really feel like I'm on the ride again.

As an HM fan, I've looked at just about every Haunted Mansion ride video on YouTube (including your previous one) and this is by FAR the best one I've seen. I love the spooky old movie atmosphere, the great audio, and the outside shot of the house. I've always been focused on the inside and I've never noticed just how cool the mansion is from the outside at night. Great work, keep it up!!
