You can't deny this guys skills. I've played both. In roller you get a bit more time and space to operate but good hands are good hands. He is clearly very talented. I can't say the same for some of the goalies he was abusing in these highlights. I think the hitting and the quality of opposition in the better ice leagues will be his greatest challenge. To walk on to an ECHL team takes skill and balls so give the guy some credit you f-ing haters. He's pretty damn good.

They've both got their individual points, inline is more to do with team tactics and stickhandling, whereas ice relies more on speed and strength.
Before anyone starts whining I coach both ice and inline hockey. Personally I prefer to coach inline hockey, because I'm not too keen on the offside rule promoting dump and chase, but I prefer to play ice purely because there's so much more control on the hits!
Obviously there's a lot more to it than that, but you only get a 400 word count :)

That's a moderate achievement, and only because he made the transition to ice hockey pretty late.
It's not so much a matter of height or weight (look at Patrick Kane) as it is a matter of taking quick decisions with the puck, and I don't think that roller hockey is an adequate vehicle to learn that.

Ok, i am 100% Truthful here. Earlier today, Itan was driving around in a truck, one of his teamates on his Yarmouth team is from here, so he took him down. We were all rollerblading,Itan must have spotted us, he came out, grabbed my buddys stick and grabbed a hockey ball too. He started bouncing it up and down, flipping the stick over, rolling it on the shaft, and hitting it offf his feet and buttend. He is amazing, I was in awe.

No offense but that goalie is suppose to play like that. He isn't in the net. He is hugging the post so itan couldn't do a wrap around. I was suprised that itan scored because the goalie played the move right. Most of the goalies are pretty good im asuming. They probably do not verse danglrs of itan's caliber so they don't know what exactly to do. Anyway Itan Chavira is amazing.

Ok, i am 100% Truthful here. Earlier today, Itan was driving around in a truck, one of his teamates on his Yarmouth team is from here, so he took him down. We were all rollerblading,Itan must have spotted us, he came out, grabbed my buddys stick and grabbed a hockey ball too. He started bouncing it up and down, flipping the stick over, rolling it on the shaft, and hitting it offf his feet and buttend. He is amazing, I was in awe.

I was starting to think he was being a dick until I saw people cheap shotting him after he scored, and even that goalie tried to attack him. That's when you know you're good. It helps to have a team that can spring you on that many breakaways and make good passes too. Good stuff, I'll be that good when I'm dead.

my TEAM USED to suck.
in 12u in NAYRHL i had 45 goals in 14 games,
when i was 12 i got the 14u team silver at usa inline nationals.
and last year, our other 14u team mercied every team in the round robin at NARCh.
so next time YOU tell ME how good I am, do some research first chode.
