@MegaMacTV From what I've heard, desk just has a pretty good understanding of how fighting game mechanics work, and he just does things he thinks would be interesting in terms of those mechanics. That's why he comes up with glitches so often - he understands the system, and because he does, he can do things that manipulate or exploit it.

@metaXzero same here. I see this as pure entertainment. Some people forget that that's the purpose of these games. Desk's execution adds a new dimension to how you can enjoy this game. If someone has a problem with it, they don't need to watch; it's that simple. Plus I'm sure what he's doing is beneficial to the community since it shows Capcom issues that they clearly missed and can then patch.

Patches aren't made and released in a week. It takes alot of time to get one done, reviewed by QA, reviewed by Sony/Mircrosoft, etc. before getting released.

Really don't get why people think Capcom can make a patch shortly after Desk breaks something. Doesn't work like that.

@metaXzero As a tester by trade I would think that the QA department would have been aware of these issues well before release. Personally I think the reason it hasn't been fixed is because Capcom are trying to save money, plus you can always use the phrase ITS MARVEL BAYBEE and it suddenly makes everything better. Funny story actually, when MvC3 was released it became a running joke in my last office to say ITS MARVEL BAYBEE whenever we found something major while testing :P

Of course they were aware of SOME of the issues. Hence the last patch taking care of what they knew and coming out so fast. It was planned over a month or more before release.

Capcom has already said they plan to patch stuff further in the future. But the facts are, patches aren't made, reviewed, and released in a day or week.
