@NARFNra Oh, yeah right. I think the Brawl remix of that song is far superior to the original version. If you think the original would of worked nearly as well as the remix in a fighting game you're kidding yourself.

I also never played the original game it's from when I was a kid. Coincidence? I think not. Take off your nostalgia headphones.

I don't even own a nintendo 64 and haven't played Kirby 64 before? Personally, I find the "AWW" and "HEY" noises in the remix incredibly irritating, they sort of screw up the mood. It's nice of you to assume I'm obviously just a nostalgic person, though!

@NARFNra I honestly didn't even notice those noises until you pointed them out. That's a pretty insignificant complaint, don't you think? They're so quiet and are drowned out by the other instruments. They even help emphasize the beat or tempo or whatever music people call it. It just seems like your nitpicking

Okay, so maybe you're not nostalgic. It still seems like you're judging the new songs harshly and cutting the dated ones more slack.

Look, our opinions differ, lets just stop arguing. I like the original better, and believe that remixing this song would probably end up sounding somewhat worse than the original. It is literally impossible to prove whether or not it would, because not only is it a case of opinion but also this song hasn't been remixed before. In addition, because we are still arguing about opinions, it's impossible and just crowding this video's views and this isn't even about this! Let's stop.

@NARFNra It's not that they remix songs because they're trying to make them better. They do it so the song will fit the mood of Smash Bros. better. So yeah, sometimes it's not true to the mood of the original song.

Personally, I think this song is a tiny bit too slow and perhaps even a little too dramatic for Brawl. I never much liked the more dramatic of SB's songs. The Final Destination theme got worse with each installment imo.

I'd prefer to have both the original AND a remix.
