The truth is Richter only showed up in Dracula X Chronicles. He had caught the flu and it was actually Ryu has his stunt double in this game.

This is a great game but I just can't get over how you can only whip in one direction as opposed to whiping in eight directions like in Castlevania 4. Hell, even in Cadash you can attack in eight directions! What the hell does Konami have against whiping in multiple directions, I really want to know!

@tiakpark That statement should be said for all 2D Castlevania games that came after Super IV. The challenge was much more fair in that game because of the control.

Hey it's German and somehow I actually understand most of it :).

But I have a question: SOTN, OoE and this game have many similarities, such as many kinds of monsters, decorations that give you money and hearts, such as the candelsticks, things like that. I loved those games, but then it got 3D and I thought Lords of Shadow especially dissapointing. I think castlevania should return back to how it was with SOTN, pixilated (only with stronger bosses) and 2D. Does anyone agree?
