At least this short film follows the dialogue of the book! I know some things are wrong but the official movie wasn't as accurate with the storyline as this is! I mean really? They didn't give Klaus glasses, they made Klaus too tall, & what the heck was that ocular device?? I think this is more well done than the actual movie! Just a couple details & it's perfect! :)

WOW there is a number of things wrong with this first of all the trees are supposed to be bare with no leaves at all, Klaus had black hair they all do. its spelled poultry ville. lucky smells lumber mill has a gate with the name made out in gum,they walk into a courtyard and see the letter on the ground ,the letter is typed with gum on the back,they meet phil at the gate .

In the book the Lucky Smells Lumbermill on the sign is made of gum. Also the foreman guy is banging pots together, not ringing a bell and he had a powdered white wig on, he also didn't have hooks for hands when he was in disguise. And also the debarkers were too big and heavy for the Baudelaire children

In my opinion you did a great job for a non-profit school project. However, Klaus has black hair - not orange. Also, Lemony Snicket is always saying that we do not have to read/watch this and that we should leave this miserable tale immediately, not that it is unfortunate that we have to endure it. Not trying to be harsh or anything, I couldn't resist pointing it out.
