Wow, I can't believe I remember all of these commercials. Good times back then, before every other commercial became a dang car commercial, or commercials inside of commercials inside commercials...commercials when your actual show is on even -sigh- Christmas commercials in October this year! Good thing for DVRs!!
Sasukegood what you said about Serbia being in the modern 80s is crap....and you know it......Serbia has everything that any other modern state has even more...
This brings back so many memories of being a child not caring about anything in life worry free ... Eating whatever you want ...waking up going to school getting excited for Christmas and being around loved ones .... Thanks for the upload !!!
9:05 Assuming that clown is supposed to represent McDonalds, who's the girl he's with supposed to represent? Burger King? Maybe that's what their uniforms looked like back then.
The Fruit Roll Ups commercial has both Kirk Cameron from Growing Pains and Jason Hervey from Wonder Years in it. long before they were famous. Great stuff!
You know after watching a few of these 80's commercial comps. If advertising to children is so bad why was childhood obesity as bad then as it is now. You don't hardly ever see commercials like these aimed at kids any more. The truth is parents need to make their kids put down the electronics and go out side and play.
I think I would sell my soul right now, on the spot, for a Playdough fun factory. And I can't tell you how many times I have had a craving for A&W rootbeer after wrestling alligators. Simon says, "Don't do crack."
i just realized how much old people was the subject of comedy for so many commercials and tv shows... thumbs up if you miss the 80's... the decade of making fun of old people!
The Watermelon was the best!!! Bonkers made a short revival back in 2000. When I worked at the Arcade, we used to get shipments of the new Bonkers. That was the last time I had that. =( I miss them too!
u know there some of them here that they could put on the air again hell just seeing thease makes me want to buy there products just by goin old school again
Oh.. I see they used senior citizens back then to advertise their food.. Uh, yeah.. I can tell you right now that does not make me want to buy your product.
Well you have to excuse them, they actually respected the "aged" back then. They didn't assume they knew everything, and thought they could actually learn something from them..
@MelodyLuvr1 You will be old one day, and I hope a young brat (like yourself) is grossed out by you. This younger generation does not respect the elderly.
Man things were so cool back then. Why is everything so shitty now?? The store I used to ride my bike to and play pac-man is now overrun with drug dealers and thugs. What happened???
@WATWUZAT i agree w/ your comment completely. the 70's & 80's were the best, then things started going severly downhill in the 90's. read 2Tim.3:1-9 "but know this, that in the last days perilous times will come..." the perilous times Paul spoke of 2000 years ago have arrived
@WATWUZAT God has been removed from the equation. The carefree and nature that you see here has been replaced with cynicism and the turning of the back of countless traditions and morals that have been staples in our society for generations. What is promoted on TV to the coming generations is to embrace anarchic ways. I fear for what is to become.
McDonalds and mostly Burger King has got Wendy's beat with "Where's the beef." Wendy's got a flas square of nothin'! That was some false advertisement! They make toys look so much more fun in the 80's. But once you get 'em they were no fun.
@katrus yea you're right..... Simon was one of those games that looked cool, but really sucked. The cool way it looked got us to always pick it up time and time again though LOL
Wow..I haven't thought about that Bonkers candy since I was a little boy...I also thought it was funny how they had the "Artificially Flavored" disclaimer on the screen. Now it's just a given that any candy you buy is going to be full of artificial crap!
@tgreer72 LOL. I agree. Your comment made me laugh non stop. Looking at this video made me realise just how cheesy and corny the 80s were. But I think the 80s were a better time in America.
@lonestar2779: This was when obesity in America was /starting/ to become an issue, but keep in mind this was also before video games became a huge deal inside the home and parents were worried about what "happened" to their kids, if you catch my drift.
