You know after watching a few of these 80's commercial comps. If advertising to children is so bad why was childhood obesity as bad then as it is now. The Watermelon was the best!!! Bonkers made a short revival back in 2000. When I worked at the Arcade, we used to get shipments of the new Bonkers. That was the last time I had that. =( I miss them too!

@lonestar2779: This was when obesity in America was /starting/ to become an issue, but keep in mind this was also before video games became a huge deal inside the home and parents were worried about what "happened" to their kids, if you catch my drift. Kids got outside and exercised more than they do today, so they burned more calories.
