@IDONTGETTHEPOINT Actually yes it can and let me explain. First off, a plane hitting at a speed excess of 700mph will cause a huge explosion on impact. The fuel will be great enough with the heat to start melting. Any metal will melt when it heated to a certain temperature. When buildings are built, they are also built to implode going down. Why? Because any architect knows that if he wants to remove his building and put a new one in a city, having fall sideways would completely defeat that.

With the top floors already melting from the heat they start collapsing which starts a chain reaction until it hits the ground. Their you go. Now go to school and learn.
