My moms had this on 45 after when she heard in on WBLS(107.5 FM) while I was attending P.S. 156 in The Bronx near Yankee Stadium. Thanks for posting by the way.
Oh my goodness where did you get this song from? !!!!!!!!!!!!!! this song brings back nothing but extremely good memories for me and partying at the Super Disco in Midtown Manhattan in 76. This was an extremely great time to be a party warrior in NYC.
This song captured perfectly the bicentennial year of 1976 & what great music we had that year...Lowdown, Love Talk, Let's Get It Together, Brass Construction, CHA, Parliament, Brick, Ten Percent...Man it was great to be 16 & alive in New York. What great times we had! I only wish that I still had the 12'' version. The LP & 45 are just 2 short.
@DatSoulBoss Wow I was 16 when this out as well we lived close I'm from Newark couldn't wait to her Frankie Crocker on the Radio WBLS with his sign off song was 7 or 8 WNJR wish I could just live one of those good times just one time my how things and music have changed
Great one Steve. This used to pop on radio waves in Chile mixed with People's Choice and Salsoul Orchestra. Rare tune and album. Not sure if I've ever seen anything else on the STANG label.
Wow UBERTROY77. I used to hear this on the radio back in Chicago. I joined the Air Force that Nov of 77 and never heard it again. Been lookin for it for years. But I didn't know who made it and nobody I asked seemed to know anything about it. Thank goodness for youtube and SteveSpent for posting it.
You know when you're a kid and your opinion matters little to your older siblings, What you like means nothing to them. I remember the last time I heard this song. It was in 77, on the radio. My older cousin changed the station and I never heard it again.
I've searched for this song for many years. Gotta love the net.
this is my favorite record the bass line is crazy, fast or slow, from the good old days of disco peace!!!
