I'm from chicago and we see people like this all day she is not bad. she can play and sing at the same time. good for her she must be on the festival bluse seen because she is not on the club seen. but i'll look for her at kngstonmines or at b.l.u.s.e. b.b and buddy are gettin old nice to see that someone still like the bluse oh and listen too buddy guy when he was young and here way clapton and hendrix thaught he was and still is god!! I wouldn't play Rory against B.B. King. I don't think they'd sound a bit bad together. It's better sing the blues than to have them. I knew Rory when she was playing the guitar when she was a ten year old. She was around some influences. Huddie Ledbetter influenced a lot of people for one. There was this guy Bill Reed who was another white person who had it who showed her some licks as a kid. You gotta pay your dues. And you know it ain't easy as George sang it.

Objectively seen, Rory outsmarts B.B. by far, ever seen B.B. playin' the guitar & singing simultaneously ??? Well Rory can do this "trick" very easily like many guitarists.

Also her singing is better and more soulful than that of Riley B. King(1925 Indianola/MS).

B.B. isn't souch a "Genius" as everybody is taking him for !!

Rory does a good job of singin the Blues. B.B. King has a whole different style and approach and he's damn good. Ya see,....when it comes to B.B. King...Everyday he sings the blues. And yeah I like Rory too. Go figure.

I love Rory, but Riley B. King grew up in the Miss. Delta working a plantation for pennies a day. He learned to play the guitar from his cousin the legenday Booker T. White. The rest he learned himself between working the farm. He had to walk from Miss to Tennessee to get his first radio gig. B.B. King's life is the blues.. Rory just sings it.
