I was kinda surprised to see footage of this spot on here...pretty localized over there, I showed up almost by accident as a visitor last August. If you find yourself here, please respect the locals. There's a lot of aloha in RI if you don't act like a kook...in which case it's probably worth your while to stay away.

the best surf spot in RI isn't a beach, Its Elbow Ledge which breaks offshore about 1.5 miles off sachuest.

This place breaks all the time, but doesn;t get great often, but when it does its amazing, its not near baileys, that is wrong

No actually this place breaks pretty frequently. I gets super thick and holllow sometimes. I surfed it for the first time last december with my brother. It was overhead, hollow, and we were the only two out.

You USED to surf this spot?????. Thats good. You used to surf it year round???? I dont think so. this spot takes a huge swell to break. This spot breaks maybe 2 weeks out of the year. This is around the ocean drive near baileys. The best spot in RI is not on Aquidneck island. but i dont shout out spots.
