But I don't see 900 hp or 90 thousand dollars worth of Camaro. 25 grand for the car, 10 grand for the 533 hp motor(maybe).
(Edelbrock sells a 600 hp crate stroker, with a 2 yr warranty for 6 grand, so...)
That's only 35K, at best. The airbrush work is average, no nice clean paint booth... A ground effects kit and a scuff and clear paint job with the doors open, doesn't add up to the other 55K.
I just don't see it, sorry. Nice enough car, but...90K?!?

Ford 9 in. and shaft are still under 5 grand for both, even if you go big. It still don't break 50K.

@ProperlyStained DIY math (which you're obviously using) may perhaps work. This fellow dropped the car off at the shop, went to work overseas for a few months, then came back and picked it up. Shop builds aren't cheap ;)

@riderthewake02 The going rate for airbrush work for GOOD true-fire is about $500 a panel (and that is for 8 or 9 layers of paint, candy, and clear). It wouldn't break $2000 in airbrushing. The base paint-job is just one color, no body-work, nothing one-of-a-kind. Being REALLY overly generous, say $5000 with the grill install and any of that. Even then:
35k for car+10k for motor and install+5k for dif+7k for paint= 57k (33k in EXTRA labor?) maybe on a full resto 32 Ford, or something. Not this.
@dwmcdaniel13 I'm chevy through and through, but, to put this plastic filled disposable car above anything made in the 30's is just blind loyalty. And besides, 90% of retro-restores are powered by chevy these days anyway, lol.

@XxyoungstuntaxX It's 6spd manual. So far no probs. He blew out the stock rear end dumpin the clutch from 1st to 2nd while sprayin, therefore the Ford 9in ;)
im not sure if this is the car or not. i didnt see the car i seen a lifted new body style gmc with simular airbrushing and a swaped ls3 and the guy was talkin bout his camaro being a bad moe and they both had the same names for the vehicals. if the guy that owns this camaro also owns a lifted new gmc 4 door then it is the car. any who bad ass camaro! i wanna see it make sum passes!

@XxyoungstuntaxX It's 6spd manual. So far no probs. He blew out the stock rear end dumpin the clutch from 1st to 2nd while sprayin, therefore the Ford 9in ;)

im not sure if this is the car or not. i didnt see the car i seen a lifted new body style gmc with simular airbrushing and a swaped ls3 and the guy was talkin bout his camaro being a bad moe and they both had the same names for the vehicals. if the guy that owns this camaro also owns a lifted new gmc 4 door then it is the car. any who bad ass camaro! i wanna see it make sum passes!

Lotta good folks around ya if you just take time to meet em. Plus, this innerwebs stuff is pretty powerful if you use it to your advantage man. You can really effeciently meet a lotta folks :)

The car project started at Texas Speed, but he brought it to ETMC quickly thereafter, and most of what you see done is from there in Longview. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch some footage of it in action! :D
