  • Hey guys! I am making videos I actually care about so I would appreciate anyone taking a look at my channel and giving me criticism!

  • Islam began in Mecca, Saudi Arabia

  • Even though they're making fun of Canada I laughed

  • only honest comedian who's not dead

  • oh look he just created Rob Schneider's entire career... 2:32

  • fucking hilarious and true hahah

  • SOOOOOOOooooooo....FUNNY!!! Right on the mark,hilarious stuff!!!

  • "They don't even have an Army, just two guys on horseback, 'I'll save you!', that's it!"

  • I've been looking for this online for.....well, forever.....

So glad i found it. Thank you for uploading.

Brings me right back to highschool. I remember watching it on VHS

    YOU CAN DO IT!

  • 1996 he was complaining about getting interested in politics...15 ears later, he's got a TV show about politics! XD

  • @SolidKore years, not ears! Roflmfao!! Epic Fail!

  • Damn...Might have been Jerry Seinfeld, except Jon Stewart is funny and has something to say.

  • Doesn't he look like Jerry Seinfeld just a little in this video?

  • greg giraldo is better than jon stewart

  • @TheGreggiraldo You know they were friends, right? Why are you trying to stir shit up?

  • this audience is so stupid they heard the word "macarena" and they go nuts. Good joke stewart.

  • jon stewart's whole routine is based upon making fun of people... not actually clever jokes. When you make fun of easy targets it's not a joke... it's everyone agreeing with you and therefor it's funny. Mitch Hedberg is silly, but he comes up with clever shit instead of just making fun of easy targets.

  • lmfaooooooooooooo; What an asshole. XD

  • He's funny, but he's gotten better with age.

  • @mrchristhechief That's sorta funny. He said we were the number 1 military in the world. by which he most likely means we had the most military personel. And you said that that wasn't true. so i told you to check the description for the date this occured. I don't know how you came up with that, or why...

  • He;s been saying the same stuff for the last 14 years, and it's still true.

  • I love this guy.

  • I was three when this came out.

  • Man John was right we didn't have a reason at all to be in the middle east nothing but trouble

  • He's so handsome and cute in this video.

  • meh, crappy american scrpited jokes, not funny.

  • Love Jon. He kinda looks like Jerry Seinfeld meets Bill Maher.

  • @paulstrong123 - I see you chose the 'blue' pill. It's actually terrifying how misinformed, bigoted and brainwashed you are. Did Papa Rush put those words in your mouth, or was it your racist/evangelical homeschooling? You know what, fuck it...I might as well be criticizing a lamppost for all the good this will do. Americans like you horrify the rest of the world. I think the Mayans were right about 2012...if Rick Perry gets elected, I'm killing myself.

  • Jon's brother Larry Leibowitz is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the New York Stock Exchange.

  • I love how Americans laugh at this guy talking about how STUPID they all are LOL

  • I think he looks more like Richard Lewis

  • Obama Tit Suckers: :-0

Most of Obama voters are Living off the government tit!

They are low life people that are able bodied, yet live off government assistance. I.E. Welfare, WIC, Food Stamps etc. healthy welfare recipients that are able to work but choose not to because they are satisfied with their welfare checks for doing nothing.

The people living off the government tit are the largest voter pool for the democratic party.

  • @paulstrong123 Actually, funny you should say that, most of the states with the highest amount of government aid vote republican.

  • @SuperBacon64 Like California? Who has voted Democratic since Reagan?

    That statistic sounds false.

  • President Barack Obama is now the undisputed “Worst President in U.S. History.” He can place this award on his mantle next to the Nobel Peace Prize. :-(

As President, it is clear that Barack Obama is dangerously in over his head for he has no executive experience, no business experience, and no real world experience. As a Chicago community organizer, he has been thrust into the most important position in the world without the necessary skills to handle this crisis.

    SOMEONE ELSE 2012! :-)

  • @mrchristhechief read the freaking description. Jon Stewart in Miami - """""""""""""""""""""1996"""""""""""""""""". Talking about War with Iraq and Canada.

  • funny-ass-dude

  • He looks like Richard Lewis

  • His talking and comedy are really inspired by George Carlin. It's my first video of Stewart and it's funny how in this video Stewart is like the second Carlin in stand-up comedy. : D

  • Welcome to America, home of the whopper lol

  • Obama will be Toast in the 2012 Elections!

Not because Bush,Republican's,Scooby do, japan or any other bull shit he can try and dream up.

Because, He is in over his head! He is a freaking Clueless community organizer from the streets of Chicago. :-(

I understand you Lib's thought this man was GOD, I am sorry that your bubble was busted. He's just a robot that stops talking as soon as you kick the TelePrompTer over! :-(

    -----------------------

  • That's one sexy do.

  • Jon Stewart is fucking hot!!!

  • Ron Paul was right again....fuck......

  • You can do eeet (pffft that's where water boy got it :'D)

  • He. Is. GORGEOUS! :)

  • "Touch it. Please. You can do it."

  • "We have no business fighting in the middle east"

If only he knew what the future held for his country...

  • @MacNcheese76 its not exactly a new thing the West has been fighting in the Middle East for hundreds or thousands of years depending if you count 19th century as the beginning of the confllict or go all the way back to the Crusades. It's not that prophetic or ironic to talk about war with iraq and canada in 1996 - this was after the Gulf War and many previous conflicts between Jews/the West and Palestinians. You guys need to do some reading. The War in the Middle East didnt start with Bush!

  • @Aegelana you're right, it didn't start with bush. but the us as only really been involved with middle east since the 1940's. In any case it's been for oil from the very beginning. fucking conservatives...

  • haha 15th educationally.....ahh if only that were still true today

  • Jon Stewart... still relevant.

  • he's right. they would turn on us like rabid dogs if we refused to sell them "wood".

it wouldn't happen though because for one thing most of our people would want to help them if they needed "wood". for another thing, the same companies operate on both sides of the border, so the thing is rigged from the start.

  • lolol ....Macarena

  • this is OK i guess

  • Oh MAANNN... He`s so HOT! God I hope he`ll be your president some day! and HEy...next time you`re in Israel...I`ll touch it! :))))

  • "Home of the whopper" lol

  • I respect this guy.

    "Comedy Show with Jon Steeeeeeeeeeeewaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaart".

Islam came from Mecca, yep, but like he said, jerusalim is a holly place for all relegions or at least 3 of them.

  • @louisana3 I'm an American and I hear different people say all sorts of derogatory things about the united states and I honestly don't care. This is just stand up, its not meant to offend anyone.

  • islam is from Mecca in Saudi Arabia. christianity and judaism are from israel. get the facts right dude..

  • I know this was long time ago and peoples view change but wat I wanna say is that it's never a smart idea to bring up religion. It will only create conflicts. and to brag about ones country is just asking for it... I'm Canadian and I'm offended by his portrayal of Canada. However I do like his standups.

  • How is judaism a major religion? Fact: there are about 13.5 million Jewish adherents, while there are over 14 million Mormons, 23 million Sikhists, and of course 900 million Hindus. Hell, there are 850 million nonreligious folks in this world. I understand it's just a comedy routine, but come on. Judaism is not a major religion.

  • @bassawash1 Judaism is in fact a major religion due to the fact that has existed for milennia, alongside Christianity and Islam, It is also as widespread as those two. Mormons are an offshoot of Christian, and Hindu originated in Islam. I can guess Sikhism also originated from it too. The three major religions are really the three CORE religions. Hell, Judaism started Christianity. So, there. btw, I'm from a Christian family, so don't call bias on me.

  • @tjock18 Hinduism is the oldest organized religion in human history. And according to your logic, Christianity and Islam wouldn't count as major religions because they themselves are spinoffs. As far as Sikhism and Islam, the original teachings of the gurus were only influenced by Dervish belief to a small degree, making Sikhism far from a spinoff of Islam. Further, one could argue that Judaism was influenced by Babylonian, Canaanite, Hurro-Semitic, and Egyptian mythology.

  • @tjock18 Hinduism is way older than Islam..

  • @F

Well technically, we believe that Islam has been around since the dawn of mankind (we have Adam's creation story in our canon as well), but people broke off from the religion to start their own variations on the faith. Hinduism is technically monotheistic, since all of the "gods" in the theology are simply different faces of the same Divine entity, which we monotheists call "God".

Krishna is considered to be a Muslim prophet, as well. We just believe that his message was misinterpreted.

  • @tjock18 Hinduism did not come from Islam. Where the hell did you hear that? Hinduism is much much much older than all of your religons. And Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism are both larger than Judaisim. It only appears that these are the major religons because you are from a country where these are the majority religions.

  • @HinduKush23 HInduism and Islam originate from more or less the same region. Proof of this is the fact that both Muslims and Hindus live in India and the surrounding countries together.

  • @tjock18 Islam originated more closely to where Judaism and Christianity came from (Palestine and Saudi Arabia) than Hinduism (which started in India). The fact that there's a large population of muslims in India has nothing to do with it.

  • @tjock18 no they don't. Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism originate from India. Islam originated in the Arabian peninsula close to where Judaism and Christianity. The reason Muslims and Hindus live in India is because Muslims came from Central Asia and conquered and converted much of India. They aren't from the same region and they definitely aren't offshoots of each other

  • @tjock18 what you're saying about Core religions isn't true except for in the case of the Mormons. Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism are completely different from Christianity, Islam and Judaism. And the guy you are replying to is stating the facts: there simply aren't enough Jews for it to be considered a major religion

  • @HinduKush23 Judaism is a major religion. Population has nothing to do with it. Think about it. Hitler's Nazis murdered 6 million Jews. That dealt a major blow to the Jewish population. If that hadnt happened, there'd probably be a few dozen million Jews in the world today.

  • lol he hella looks like jerry seinfeld

  • *Cheap marketing alert* There's a new Jon Stewart app out for the iphone/ipad, it delivers a daily quote from the man himself.

  • 2:00

  • "jesus, mohammed, and moses all went to the same high school" haha

  • wtf he looks like Jerry Seinfield.

  • @samisab786 its the 90s, every jewish guy looked the same at that point

  • @samisab786 he looks like a jew

  • @samisab786

argh!! you beat me to it!...4 months ago

  • Try to pause at 7:09.

  • genius...

  • Touch it please touch it (Like Button) come on you can do it!

  • "They don't even have an Army, just two guys on horseback, 'I'll save you!', that's it!"

  • 111 people hate comedy.

  • Now wonder he's so damn funny. PRACTICE!

  • First time I've ever seen Stewart do stand-up, he's great. Funny how he says he gets tired of the politics in his bit... he's the biggest political news junkie EVER!

  • david copperfield

  • 0:20

    im from kuwait

  • i understand if people are going to dog me for this but the reason why we're in the middle east is because america is an empire. the fight for freedom and democracy is basically a slogan used to gain the support of americans to run the campaigns. our true purpose of sending troops and bombing countries is to gain the consent of other countries to join our empire. its that simple. if you don't believe me just study the history of all major empires (especially rome), it's basically the same thing.

  • lol he sucks at accents

  • ...Touch it.

  • I am Israelie and this is not an Israelie accent at all!!I am supraised with Jon that he cant make good Israelie accent.

  • @amirper2000 why are you surprised? His comedy style is witty and ironic, not impressions.

  • did you guys sense a little george carlin at 4:15?

  • @TRUTHimplant you're funny.

  • @TRUTHimplant autism speaks

  • @TRUTHimplant Idiocy has a name!

  • @TRUTHimplant I wanna fuck you in the ass with a lamp.

  • He has come a long way in his delivery. I am a fan but I seen many moons ago hes alot funnier nowadays. To bad hes still a pussy. Grow a pair Stewie.

  • @peteardable lol says a guy over the internet

  • I'll save you!

  • Jon Stewart with JET-BLACK HAIR. He really looks young.

  • @FurudoGou Yeah. I think he's like 47 right now. His hair just said "Fuck this shit!"

  • It's like he's channeling George Carlin...

  • WHOA... HE TOTALLY LOOKS AND SOUNDS LIKE SEINFELD!!!

  • BOMB ISRAEL END of STORY

  • Why does the label, holy land, evoke so much fear? You would think that with all the claims of these religions being peaceful, everyone won't be batshit scared of living there.

  • Man if this is from 1996, he was WAY ahead of his time joking about this stuff... I Always thought Stewart was a smart comic, same with Dave Chappelle, they're just ahead of their time... Nowadays most comedians just want short term laughs, but the way those 2 guys do it, they'll be funny for years to come!

  • Islam did not begin in Israel.

  • Somalia kicked you junkie ass

  • @kalosanin and that was AFTER the country had fallen in three years of war and it had NO army or even government! there was ONE clan in that country who fought the entire U.S army !

  • The funny thing about the Israeli soldiers and the american girls with the "touch it", is absolutely true. When I went to Israel last Memorial Day, the soldiers that were with got bj's from some of the girls that were on our trip.

  • It's pathetic that Americans aren't on the streets protesting, every single day, against these wars in the middle east.

  • @danielmountain Why aren't you protesting now instead of posting comments on YouTube?

  • @CoolerKing37 i no longer live in america. it isn't worth fighting for.

  • @danielmountain Now, THAT is pathetic...

  • Cheers for the George Carlin Reference

  • What I think is great here is how Jon Stewart's politically-inclined commentary becomes a natural dialog with the audience in this video. It's easy. A lot of people want to think of comedy as an escape. But this is one of those fine examples where it is a decompression. Those who are laughing are also thinking about reality--something they would avoid doing (and would so be enabled/encouraged to do) with other social and media outlets.

  • it's Palestine not israel

  • @ronnie74413 Whatever it "is," the world would be better if it is Israel.

  • he looked like seinfeld when he was younger

  • @vessc I was thinking the same thing... good thing he doesn't now... Seinfeld is a douche.

  • Comment removed

  • @vessc He almost has the same falset-voice and he is jewish too!

  • @JonasAnonym

But he's much more sexy and funny.

  • @vessc they are both jews so the similarity is not a coincidence.

  • actually islam began in mecca and medina, where muhammed lived, he never went to the land of israel in his entire life.

  • @poo6dle6 yes he did lol

  • funny stand up set, first stand up act of stewards i've seen, now i know why he was chosen for the daily show.

  • My god he looks more like jerry seinfeld than jerry seinfeld.

  • jesus, mohammed and moses went to the same high school. lol. could you imagine that. each one with there own clique. :D

  • 3:30 - 3:35

The most accurate answer one can give to that question lol (and I am a Canadian)

  • I miss the Whopper : 9

  • "i wanna care about that stuff, but i can't...." my how things change... looking forward to tonight's episode

  • You can tell just by watching his stand up that he would make a great talk show host. Andddd now he is so i guess other people noticed then lol

  • wow Seinfeld sure was popular back then! Even Jon has his hair

  • @0zziefan

Glad I'm not the only person who noticed that.

  • they are just both jews and it was the 90s.

  • wow his hair lol

He's an awesome comedian, intelligent comedy is hard to find. (^_^)b

  • CLICK MY CHANNEL FOR BILL OREILLY ON COLBERT REPORT

  • I miss that Jersey accent.

  • Comment removed

  • he got old

  • Don't they at least have to get through England before they get to us? lmao!

  • jon stewart he's like a little dancing monkey he doesn't know enough history to make sense in what he says, his views are Bolshevist views. israel is not jerusalem, Israel was the name given to jacob by god. so funny :BigLaugh

  • @TheMiamifuentes what is wrong with having bolshevist views? maybe if you knew that much about history you would know that communism was the political sistem that helped with most social problems. i am not a communist, but i think that you can't deny that communism is a force of good in this world that is poorly understood and destroyed by some of the bad leaders like stalin and castro.

  • @TheMiamifuentes ahahahhaha aww you're crying

  • @TheMiamifuentes religion is poison.

  • This is coming from Canada. Don't mess with the trees or we'll have to unleash the beavers. Be afraid Jon Stewart. Also huge fan!!!!!!

  • @irow931

Don't forget we'll hide in our igloos and throw a large double double in their face!

  • A person in show business like Stewart knows the psychology of the "common people" a lot more than some douchebag pundit on any of the cable news networks. God bless him for it.

  • @BenBeanin yeah so he pulls your strings. Esau fools the world.

  • @BenBeanin funny cause he actually is a psychology major

  • @joelbluminator thank you for agreeing. I mean, it doesn't take a genius to know that the Islam of today was created in Mecca and spread out of Saudi Arabia only after the Prophet's death, through the caliph's, into the world beyond. This guy should at least take his time to base his jokes on facts. His stand-up comedy would seem funnier if he did.

  • lol, he really did look like Seinfeld back in the day.

and yea, this is sad, it's all still applicable today.

  • lol "didja have a nice sandwich?"

  • All still applys today.......sad.....we just dont learn

  • @nexusarmstrong0117 and even more so today

  • @nexusarmstrong0117

    Applies*

  • Jon Stewart

come to maine its coon season all year long

    you brain dripping asshole

  • year i was born he should do more stand up
