  • Thanx for the video, Helped alot!!

  • Socket, ratchet, whatever. LOL

  • There are a few things you can do 1 you can cut it out with a sawal or you can use a smart rench after that you just have to be very creative sorry that is why I invented the Master Extractor

  • What if I dont have a "master extractor"??

  • Good morning; on our bathtub - which is but 4 years old and supposively with higher quality BR fixtures, our tub drain, which is simply a plunger type where you push down and lift up, began to carode quickly - sign of very poor material,. The caroded plunger simply 'screws' out and the shaft is I believe 1/2 inch. Home depot had 1/4 and 3/8 sizes. The other question would be how to remove such a base for this type of plunger as it appears to just lay in the drain but held in by what? Thanks,

  • can this take out the flange if the crosspieces are broken?

  • @jmil2000 yes it hugs the inside walls, doesn't use the crossbars

  • Comment removed

  • i think i need this tool...

  • Do all tub drains install this way? I need to replace mu ugly old one with a new one but don't want to change the drain pipe, that would be tub removal!

  • Where to buy this cool tools....

  • I met the man who makes these and saw him use it very impressive . I bought one and am very glad I did, I replaced a tub drain on a old ball and claw tub I was done in about 15 minutes. I then used it with my impact gun to remove 2 pipe nipples from under the kitchen sink I was done in less than 5 minutes best 75 dollars I ever spent thanks Tim for a grate tool

  • @Leaplumber Where did you buy this tool? josephscheer@yahoo.com

  • got a tip from my family handyman magazine, to use a shop vac to suck out all the hair and built up debis from the tub/shower drain before replacing. Does that work? or is their another better method?

  • @fixurface1 must have been some good beer. Heck I'll buy the next round. This guy is cool.

  • @dvirga Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. A reglaze job is now needed due to the beating the tub/shower took. :D

  • covers the unscrewing with his hands and dose not clean drain nor adds putty or silicone.

  • where do u buy the ectractor from and how much?

  • @1rewd1 No doubt about it.

  • @realitycop

    lol good point

  • pretty good considering he used only ONE hand... if this stuff is so darn easy why do men bitch about doing it so much..lol

  • I am a GIRL and I DID IT MYSELF... beaner

  • @Octobersky1770 Keepin it classy. :D

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! Fascinatin footage! Reminds me of the couple that got married in a bathtub...it was a DOUBLE RING ceremony!!!

  • Man, those are sunburned arms, looks like he was out fishing earlier....

  • very nice!

    how much does it cost?
