I think the pirates are very poorly organized, if I were their leader I'd place some covert divers in a perimeter around the captured ship that would remain on standy. As soon as any enemy ships would approach they would swim to them and prompty attach explosive devices to their hull and blast them away. These are simply falsehoods that you are presenting.
I do not agree with the methods employed by the pirates but I fully support their primary cause, which is to stop foreign corporations from fishing illegally in Somali waters and hence destroying the livelihoods of thousands of Somalis.

I am sorry, we do not agree on the reality on the ground in Somailia. I do not have sympathy for lawbreakers. I worked with a person that happened to be a Christian that made it to a UN rufugee after his entire family was killed for being Christians. In Sudan, Muslim militias are wiping out Christians by the hundreds of thousands as we speak. Anyone not a Muslim in a Muslim country is referred to as an Infidel.

blessed with the best beaches and the biggest access to the indian ocean, Somalians can potentially develope a multi-bilion dollar fishing industry, they can also build a viable tourist industry, but instead they chose the path of destruction by using their access to the ocean to carry out piracy, which is much less profitable, this is not an African problem, this is a somali problem.
