With "Gaddafis assets" they are referring to assets that Gaddafi handles or could possibly acquire or divert to his personal gains by means such as coercing his family.
However, what terrifies me is the trend that western governments are seizing complete control over their commercial banking whenever it suits them. Not even war should be a good enough reason to hurt the western economy in this way.

Nice Video.....I wonder how much of the money given to the rebels from these frozen accounts actually goes to the war. How many of those rebels take the million dollar pay check and walk off? How much of that money is given back to Sarkozy's personal off shore bank account? Thieves, gangesters, murderers, hypocrites, liars, evil evil evil fucking people. They are the scum of the earth.
