I had a happy ending to this after all. My husband, without me knowing, sent my programme back to the theatre a few days after I saw the play, with a letter to David, saying how much I had loved the play and could he please sign my programme. It came back yesterday, dedicated to me and signed by David. What a lovely, darling man David is. And my husband too for that matter.
Went to see it on August 11th. And I don't know how it happened, there were a crowd and David/Catherine were already outside, but I still got through everyone and got their autographs. Now I'm reading all these comments and I understand how lucky I was. I feel sorry for you, guys, who didn't get anything.. v.v Btw, thank you for uploading this. :)
Linapredator - I was there on 16th July. I would have liked to say hello to David afterwards and maybe get a photo, but I had heard about the crowds at the stage door. I had sent a message to one person who had put a stage door clip on YOutube and she confessed that she and her friends arrive there two hours before the play finishes to get a good place at the barrier. They get autographs and photos time and time again, while others don't get a look in.
@linapredator I'm pretty sure the song is actually one of the monologues from the show put to music. Mumford and Sons just named their album after a shakespeare quote from much ado about nothing.
Oh I love you for recording this! :) I've seen the show twice and the ending was just so lovely and since it seems like there won't be a DVD it's wonderful to have this little clip. :) Thank you!! :) ♥
I know I came from America to see it. I didn't see them at the side stage door either I didn't know at the time whether or not they would come out. There Is a petition to get it put on DVD and it's being talked about if you go on my channel under the much ado about nothing DVD petition video it will give the link so you can sign it if you want. It's got over 12,500 signatures. Me and my brother got about 6 minutes of video from the play.
me and my brother did the same thing, we saw it twice and filmed a bit of it. uploaded it on youtube. got over 7,000 hits on the three videos got taken down after about a week good luck though!
you know it's unfair they didn't make a dvd of the play.
i had covered with my hand the camera so they wouldn't see me.i only recorded only these 2 videos.but at the end a guy came and said to delete everything i recorded,i said i didn't record anything and sid 'let me see' and i acted like i didn';t know how to use the camera!! xexexe and then said 'ok ok' and left...
@linapredator Just to give you the heads up, I work in the west end and the producers of this show aren't stupid. They know what goes on and they do check this site every so often. Even for footage of shows that are finished. And your vid is pretty easy to find so when they see this or the other one you did it will be taken down. I'm not saying this to piss you off. I have seen it happen before.
@ahobbit111 the thing i didn't like and was very dissapointed is that at the back of the theatre was a public road and everyone came for autographs and i didn't even see tennant and tate at all.so much crowd and they only came out for 5 minutes.there should be priority for those who paid to see the play.i came all along from greece to see him and have a photo!! :-(

I went to see this play in the summer and absolutely loved it.
It is nominated in a couple of categories for the whatsonstage-awards this year.
So if you watched and loved this play go to the whatsonstage-homepage and help them win.
