I love how they have the kid in the living rm asking for popcorn and in the kitchen conversation at the same time. They fit as many laughs in as possible, in the music, in the editing, transitions, perfect sketch comedy
I realize by watching this episode - this particular episode mind you - that you really need to get certain pop culture references to fully appreciate the jokes. I want so desperately for kids a decade plus younger than me to get this show, but this wouldn't necessarily be the place to start.
what pop culture references? mr show was all about simple jokes. Anyone can laugh at the Car Was Change Thief Action Squad or the Intervention skit. SNL is the most pop culture-centered show of all time.

People call it "pornography," but I just call it my bread and butter. People everywhere are masturbating on my bread and butter.
And it's delicious.

I would pay SO much for the Skokerman "Taint Misbehaving" poster, but I'm sure he and Kulap have it framed over their mantle.

I love the Mens Club of Allah.
It's probably the only skit I wouldn't frown at for spoofing Batman.
This show is to damn funny.
