  • Impressive!!!!

What do you do at 0.17 with the left hand???

It seems slide on the E string, but the movement it's so fast that I don't understand O__o

  • of course he can play tool songs, hes asian what did you expect

  • @RapIsForMorons your point? adam plays it to and hes not asian... if you dont have anything positive to say than dont say anything

  • @RapIsForMorons wow there was no point to that

  • fuk yea dude rock on

  • How can anyone dislike this??

  • which pickup has on the bridge???

  • Hatsune Miku can't do this XD

  • robson!!???

  • Awesome cover! Do you have any tab for the starting riff?

  • @mpiskotos

    What you do is

you strum the first string (D) and pull it right after.

    this make 2 notes

the trick is to pull the next (A) string to make the third note.

right after that you strum: down, up, down up

so this is basically the first fret that you do this.

The rest of the frets (6th, then 5th, then 10th) you do the first "strum, pull, pull, strum strum strum strum" but instead of that take out the last "strum strums"

The tabs on the internet probably dont show you this is it!

  • @mpiskotos ...i also only use one finger for this (either index or middle finger) so the rhythm looks like (3rd fret) strum pull pull strum strum strum strum (6th fret) strum pull pull strum strum (3rd fret) strum pull pull strum strum (10th fret) strum pull pull strum strum ps when i said on the other comment "(6th, then 5th, then 10th)" i meant 6th then 3rd then 10th the VERY first fret is the 3rd fret btw!!! but you probably already knew that
  • wow!!! ur amazing i have no words!!! im a fan =)

  • For the intro, did you pull off of the 2nd and 3rd fret or just do triplets? I can't figure out how to play it correctly and you absolutely nailed this song.

  • @A7Xxoverlord

look up "Jambi - Tool how to play it on guitar"

    look for the yellow guitar

  • 3 people begged like hookers all night long

  • RIGHTEOUS BROTHER

  • Dude you nailed it

  • im in that asian part of youtube again

  • your awesome!!

  • Very nice guitar & very nice song

  • Hey friend, can you tell me which Gibson Les Paul model is that beauty?

  • @LeavesHopeUs Gibson les paul custom silverburst

  • that was a freaking killer pickslide man!!

  • The sound of your pickscrape is like a screaming anime character...love it

  • ovvvv .. wonderfull

  • what gauge strings do you use when covering Tool songs?

chingones:)

  • master

  • Tool's music is some of the hardest music to play, not necessarily because of the complexity of the notes or chords, but because of the eclectic and constantly changing time signatures. Great job, by the way. You're playing was spot-on, and your guitar's tone was absolutely perfect. One more thing, that's one of the nicest guitars I've ever seen. I'm going to steal it.

  • I love how every1 makes cover videos with the original song in the background so people dont notice their mistakes... Go ruin some other song you douche

  • @MechaPT Fail Troll. You shouldn't have included the norm, which is including the original song, if you wanted to troll better.

  • This guy's pretty damn solid when it comes to tone. And playing, too...

  • Near perfect, the only tiny thing I can suggest is the 'pre-chorus' riff at 1:43 ends in triplets not 16th notes . I noticed recently :)

  • Why every asiatic guitar player has an Ibanez?

  • wow your unreal

  • WHERE'S THE TALK BOX?

  • Wow!!!!

  • them dan g asians sure are good huh

  • Is your Les Paul stock? And what amp/amps are you using? thanks!

  • You don't fuck around, you get it right! Thumbs up.

  • pretty rad guitar man.

  • nice guitar

  • Good job first of all. That's cool that you like these guys looking at how young you look. Sorry if you took offense to that! I've been going to tool shows since 93. Before the Internet really took off nobody knew what they looked like if you hadn't seen a show. Anyway I forked out almost $4000 for mine in 2004 when they released it again. Adams 3 are originals from the 78-82 period. I hot rodded mine just like one of his with SD Jazz in the neck position and the JB in the bridge position. Almo

  • you make it look so easy

  • Holy fuck!

  • Nice cover man, quite a lot of mistakes in timing and missing notes on the solo though.

  • You should've muted the talk box solo in the song so I could've heard the wah wah better. That was sweet! But it sounded a little weird because of the song in the background. MAD props to you sir!

  • FUCKING NICE GUITAR

  • @SilverburstJun WTF!?!?!?

  • What Amp(s) are you using to get adams sound? Are you using a diezel amp and a JB bridge pup?

  • in the beginning are you using only the 6th string?

  • Love the tone. ;)

  • I can just sit and watch your covers for hours. I’d go as far as to say you’re the best guitarist on Youtube! Always in rhythm, great technique. I’ve learned a lot just from watching you. Keep it up!

  • @StevenzGuitarCovers

i agree he is one of the best...another is neogeofanatic

  • what kind of strings do you use?

  • Nice! Your left hand looks robotic!

  • @syn5643 this is the gain used by Jones...

  • @Erkoil syn5643 is right dude, there's way too much gain (and bass imo). it makes everything muddy and like the expression goes, sometimes less is more...

  • Look! Adam Jones!!

  • Pa ti si fuknjen... :D Svaka čast!!! :D

  • You should lower the gain on your amp, too much dist for this song

  • awesome guitar!!

This is pretty phenomenal =) Keep up the great work!

  • Good job, but turn your gain down. Your notes are shrouded by the excess gain. It will be much cleaner and force you to play even cleaner. 4/5stars

  • I think I love this dude.

  • i love your left hand motion on the 0:17, it's like a machine. i always get lost at the of the song when all become quiet XD.

  • @ammoboy09 it's called flow man no robot can pull this off

  • I wish your description was in english :(

  • pull off 6 string 3fret , next pull off 5 string 3 fret.

  • the pull-offs at the beginning, are they 3p2p0 or just 3p0?

  • @human1212 It's 3p0, skimming the pick across the two strings. Takes a little practice, but sounds very cool once you get it down! I played this song 3p2p0 for a long time until I found this!

  • this guy is unreal on his technique, it almost looks like he is trying to seduce his guitar neck. im extremely impressed, you have an extremely pollished technique that most people cant even imagine.

  • you have one beautiful lady in your hands

  • Good playing and technique, but it's just not the same without the talkbox and the pipe bomb microphone.

  • @Drratburn Pipe bomb michriphone is nowhere on Jambi bro, The only song it makes an appearance on is The Rosetta stoned solo.

  • Tremendous playing and the tone is nice and crunchy!

  • could someone do a tutorial or something on that left-hand technique that Adam Jones loves so much. because frankly it confuses the hell out of me.

  • If i'm not mistaken the riff at about two minutes is in 27/4

  • @Robinsonero more like one bar of 8/8 another of 9/8...and Im probably still wrong!!

  • It depends how you count it. It's 27/4 if you wait for the whole thing to repeat or switching between 9 and 8 if you count every measure.

  • Thats what i found really awesome.

  • for me 2. And the improv on the solo without a talkbox is also awesome

  • HOLY SHIT!!! you are good man nice sound, and nice guitar just like Adam's

  • that sounds absolutely sick dude

  • awesome! very hard song

  • Hahahahahahahahahahaha

  • i mean because of the middle parts ;-) i always get lost in them

  • WOW...nice one

  • nice cover dude. subscribed. i wish i can afford a guirat like that.

  • Haha amazing!

    Wait...isnt that Adam Jones's Guitar?!

  • the exact one lol

might even be his signature series

  • way to go dude, good shit.

  • the entire intro is heavy distortion + heavy palm, he has both and is playing it right (and rather well)

  • Your a FKn Machine, dude you rock!!!!!!1

  • Great guitar, great tone, excelent playing. You're great, dude.

  • nice to somone playing a bit correct //

bro ; get a bit relax .. U've got it man .. keep playing .. god bless //

  • @SilverburstJun I think Adam will be impressed

  • Damn Man...

  • Great job, I see you do the intro part correct with the roll on the A string. I'm still trying to nail it that way, it's pretty tough cause I'm used to playing it the "wrong way."

  • @ackyman81 Do you have a tab for the right way to play it?
