  • In general, potassium in the extracellular fluid has an inhibitory effect on calcium ion inward flow. IN hypokalemia, calicum ions entry into the cardiac muscle cells increases and enhances the contractility of cardiac muscles cells. I think u said the opposite in your presentation.
