  • Hasn't what?

  • I started out watching Louis CK stand up...how did I end up here?

  • @billywish Jealous much. Lmao. He watches the show and I know they put some of the same stuff on, so I doubt he cheated just cus he's better than others.

  • @ENTERRAPTURE20 Dont try to freak people out and spam videos with comments that are completely off topic. If you read the bible you would know that no one can predict when the rapture is coming.

  • ♠♣♦♥

  • he has a good memory his wife cheated little bit but he would have one anyway

  • he cheated, why dont he just admit to it... BIG DEAL!.. nobody can pop a number like that..

  • Dudes a pro.. To many haters mad at his skill.... A cheater for real is the guy who worked over press your luck by learning the exact pattern of the old school board and took the show for soo much they ended up having to pay him off and shit down the game to figure a way to make it more random.

  • Barney Stinson did the same thing...

  • he did'nt cheat...but how does that happen?

  • ""Price Is Right" Miracle..."

This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by BBTV_WB.

    Sorry about that.

  • @Austin101123 Right over there on the side bar to the right is a video called "The Price is Right Exact Showcase Bid" which has not been taken down yet.

  • I think he cheated. In this explanation he says the camper was 19 foot so he said 19000. The show actually said it was 17 ft. So he would have have 17000 + 4000. A difference of 2000. He somehow cheated

  • @CJ4R He said he thought that the guy had said 19 feet 1:30

  • @CJ4R wow, you must have the same hearing problem he has, cuz he says that he THOUGHT that rich fields said 19 feet, so his bad hearing paid off for him. Dont hate.

  • @CJ4R he said he "thought" the guy said it was 19 ft meaning it was not

  • I turned on the snow thing to see if it would go in his mouth. :)

  • weather you cheated or not who cares, who cares no need to get so defensive, don't get your panties in up roar!! I mean seriously: If you had cheated they would of caught it by now lol ejoy the priseses just take a deep breath and enjoy the blessings that you obviously blessed with.

  • how did i get here?

  • this sucks, i dont want to hear some people talking i actually wanted to watch twhat happened

  • haha you this guy has had his fun with novacane!!

  • I hear Lady in the background! XD

  • Comment removed

  • "Its about this much, i'm thinking its about this much, its probably around this much".

Yet that equates to an exact bid?

  • Update the link, it's been removed by BBTV or something... despite numerous other PiR clips still existing

  • This guy beats Michael Larson.

  • Watch closely at 3:05. He looks to his right, picks his nose and then nods. CAUGHT !

  • He cheated.

  • I remember this day quite well. Before this guy bid perfectly on his showcase I didn't think it could be done (I know it was done once in the 70s, but I never saw that). A perfect bid in the Showcase is very difficult, I have to give this guy credit.

  • After listening to this interview, he sounds absolutely and totally true blue to me. The guy explains his strategy very well and like pointed out above, if he was really "cheating", he would have just said 23500 instead of 23743 since the other contestant was 484 under the right price, he would have won the double showcase with this number and nobody would call him a "cheater" right now.

He is just a very faithful viewer of the show and made the perfect guess. Call that a "miracle" if you want

  • A great behind the scenes story.

  • That's not cheating, that's smart haters

  • ahahahaha who gives a fuck!!!

  • @nickdesroches89 Whores. Whores gives fucks.

  • Fuck Michael Larson. He could have bankrupted the studio. He's a damn whammy only not half as funny.

  • Imagine if michael larson was on this show. he'd probably look up prices of things they have on the show prior to his taping.

  • @retroflashbackdude But you can not bring any price lists to the show with you.

  • @jhshifris1 I'm talking about him memorizing the prices of the most common kinds of prizes on the show and making a practice wheel for the showcase showdown to get 1.00 on the first spin.

  • @retroflashbackdude HUH????.....

  • @GoodCheeba I'm talking about him trying to do a strategy similar to the one he did on press your luck.

  • @retroflashbackdude I saw the one about "press your luck" that was hilarious he figured out that the board rerun after every 3 boards or something like that, so he knew when too push the button I forget how much he won but he didn't cheat he just did the math, that's like counting cards at a casino, they say that is cheating but really boils down too math, after all aren't slots only made too hit at "rigged" times??

  • @thundermaster41 i think it was liek 500k

  • It must be a SLOOOOWWWWW day at this radio station.

  • LInk doesn't work!

  • How is it even possible to cheat in this scenario? You have a very limited amount of time to say your bid, so it's not like someone was able to get the prices, add them all up, then tell him the answer. Yes, he said a random number but I see PLENTY of people do that. Just because his # was right on the dot is why the "random number" became such a big deal to some people. My sister watches Price is Right all the time and when items come up for bid, she can guess the exact price for the majority

  • basically whats he is saying is... I FUCKING CHEATED GOT A PROBLEM?

  • No that's Albert Einstein guy below me

  • he is like the chuck Norris of math

  • @theyoyoclawman you forget, chuck norris invented math. chuck norris IS math.

  • @theyoyoclawman

Ya he's great at basic math.

  • @theyoyoclawman why would u only capitalize his last name lol

  • The Guy did his Homework before coming on to the show, and it paid off. Just because he aced his Showcase you want to label him a Cheater?

How about if any of you were to take a Final Exam at school. If you were to score 100 on your Final Exam could I say that you cheated on your Exam? You studied for your Exam. Right? Same scenario with this Gentleman.

  • @Jiltedin2007 A closer analogy would be Jeopardy. for the most part, this game show is a knowledge based show, not chance. If someone with an Eidetic memory were to watch the show and go through catalogs for a few months, they could probably repeat this feat with relative ease.

  • @Skwisgar2322 In order to excel on Jeopardy, you really need to become some sort of a Prodigy. Now this Gentleman on The Price is Right figured everything out in his own head(As you heard on his interview), gave his bid and aced The Showcase. Did he even try to peek at the Actual Price of his Showcase? That is the only way I could imagine if you could cheat on your Showcase. If you can find proof that the Gentleman in question has done that, then you have a beef.

  • Ya im sorry but i think this was a publicity stunt by the Price is Right. The guy claims to have known the pool table was around $3000 and he had seen the karaoke machine a few weeks before for $1175. He knew the rule of thumb was a grand per foot of the trailer. OK. But being a super veteran fan like he was, he wouldn't have bid anywhere close to a number where he could have gone over. The price is right just wanted some publicity and it looks like it worked if im here right now.

  • Smart guy, he did his homework. This isn't cheating, it's just smart.

  • cheater!

  • If you actually watch the episode you can see he goes to the same guy for prices each time and this guys story is bullshit he did not figure these things out in his head

  • He's Rainman

  • Maybe he was taking lessons from Barney Stinson.

  • It pays to study.

  • I don't think he cheated. I just think he was lucky or very good at pricing things. And don't be mean and call me things like "F@#ktard". I'm entitled to my opinions!

  • Terry says: "Watch the show."

I say: "Watch the show & play it on Facebook."

  • @disneygrab1 I do play it on facebook a lot, and I've been able to guess some prices and cases as well. Though, a lot of people do cheat on fb (writting the prices down basically). It's still good fun and the games/wheel are very well done.

  • he didn't cheat. Hes just very clever

  • 37 people are jealous

  • People are so dumb, he didn't cheat...

  • For now on in case you plan on going to the show do exactly what Terry say "do your homework" on The Price is Right to know every single prices on each of the prizes. Then go on the show

  • I watch Price is Right a lot. They constantly re-use prices ALL THE TIME. Mostly, ones that haven;t been one. If you watch frequently, you recognize the items again, and can recall the price. This past week, they had a set of colored dishes as a prize on Temptation that was $771, and wasn;t won. The very next day, those same dishes were a one-bid item, costing $771.

  • don't waste an hour watching the major fraud...the dude coughs whenever its the right answer, and it goes on for an entire hour, plus the guy who is the guy is a real dumb ass

  • It's just like Slumdog Millionare--"it was destiny"

  • If you want to win the Price is Right, you do your homework...

  • If he were going to cheat he wouldn't get it right on the money both times. I believe him.

  • @HeavenlyValo Exactly! Good point HeavenlyValo :D

  • Totally agree with the lotto comment. This guy's odds were just as good as the people that hit the lottery. The real problem is Drew Carey.

This was something that hadn't happened in the shows 35+ year history. Why not be exited at something so rare, instead of calling the guy a cheat?

  • that oh well sounded real gay

  • This guys a fucking loser. Some people are obsessed with this shit show

  • @callumchandler lmfao successful troll

  • @callumchandler no one likes you so shut up

  • @callumchandler Cheaters>whiners, if that's your case.

  • @callumchandler I could be as dumb and bigoted as you and say that all Brits are dumb and bigoted. But I know that isnt true. But what is true, is that you are a dumb bigot. And dummy, the U.S. is made up of all people of all races and religions! DUH!

  • @Thedickknows You need to look at us. We have had Queen, The Beatles and people like Stephen Hawkings

I am quite intellectual as well. Ranging in the 160 IQ range. But thats because I've been studying all my life. There are lots of dumb asses in the country as well...

  • @mariogamersidequest I am not quite sure how this is relevant to what I stated. But ok.

  • @callumchandler No, they are not, thank you very much.

  • If you win by cheating your really not winning at all.

  • @francisjairam HE DID'T CHEAT!!!.there is no way in hell he could have pissibly cheated.you cant rig something like that.Next time get your facts straight before making a dumb comment.

  • @Foolishpleazure I'm just saying. Sheesh you don't have to be so cruel.

  • well to GET to the Showcase he needed to win the Showdown, and you can't rig that.

  • CHEATER!

  • They made a movie about this once CALLED SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE

  • If he was cheating, why would he do the exact price and attract attention to the fact? You fool.

  • @Grantz0r Because it looked like both players knew their price, the lady was playing it smart and made a good enough bid not to arouse suspicion, rarely do they get within $500.

  • @Grantz0r Because he's a MORON! NOBODY could get it EXACTLY right unless they cheated!!

  • @corjonbett Anyone can get it right. Refer to the second top comment.

  • @corjonbett Right. Do lottery winners cheat? It's even LESS probable to win the lottery numbers exactly, yet it's happened numerous times.

  • @Grantz0r dude u have to watch major fraud who cheated on who wants to be a millionaire.... it's rediculous.

  • @Grantz0r Exactly why he cheated that way, make it so obvious that nobody will think it

  • @Grantz0r Maybe that's what he wants you to think!

  • @Grantz0r Because he knew there were people like you that are going to say that and bid exact price to trick you. You fool.

  • @Grantz0r ...well, if he did cheat, he got a way with it, you fool.

  • I've been several times, and I really don't see how anyone could cheat. They collect phones at the door, checking purses and making you go through metal detectors. My sister and I watch a lot, and we just went to a taping. We didn't get on, but we yelled out a bid to a girl who had been sitting next to us who made it to the showcase, and we were within $72.

  • Hahaha, this guy is so cool. He just like "lol ok"

  • why would they let anyone cheat? producers of this show want the contestants to lose

  • @NaruIno143 Wrong. The prizes are provided by the sponsors. The producers actually want people to win so it's more exciting, and they get more viewers.

  • Pfft, anyone can look up prices online on their phone now, so it shouldn't be that impressive anymore.

  • Does anyone know the song in the background BTW?

  • @BlkSerialKilla

    modjo "lady, hear me tonight"

  • @fgtrejo YES! Thank You! =D

  • if he cheated wouldnt he have guessed at least 10 dollars off to make it not so suspicious? this man is just a guy good with prices. old people tend to be.

  • You can just tell by his story and actions when he was on the show, he's a lying fuckin cheater

  • @BrentLarryproduction One can tell from reading your comment, you can tell that YOU are an ignorant guy that sucks gay dicks all day long. You obviously got into that career from your early teen years of gay sex.

  • @Purplecatsoup30 What? How could you see how I'm gay by reading that comment? Haha jk, I have nothing against him, but common

  • This guy is full of win.

  • yea he did cheat his wife could have been on the phone with some one who was on the cp and she was just saying the numbers

  • @FUKCODMW2 lol me too :D no problem

  • @FUKCODMW2 lol thats 98 cents worth of spilled milk :D

  • People who think this guy cheated lack common sense.

If you were to cheat, and you wanted to get away with it, why the hell would you guess the exact amount right down to the singles digit? If you weren't a retard you'd guess an amount that would be enough for you to win, but not exactly on the money so that people aren't staring at you funny.

  • @PrUnEJuIcEtHeThIrD Simple, he could be a retarded cheat. How hard is it to say the amount if you know exactly what it is? Even an idiot could do it. A smart cheat would have done exactly as you said.

  • "Done his Homework" makes sense. The more times you buy the same items, with the same price over and over again, it becomes a routine. Consider this, how many years has this show been on the air, using the same items up for bid?

  • thats not cheating.the real cheating was on the british version of who wants to be a millionaire major fraud.that was blatant cheating.this here was just clever strategy.

  • Some people are observant of little things like this. Its the same strategy the guy did on "Press Your Luck".

How would he cheat anyways ? How would he find this stuff out ?

  • i had to watch this video a couple times because i kept listening to "lady" in the background and singing it in my head

  • I think he got very lucky. If he were cheating, he would have picked a round number (still within $250 of TARP) so as not to get people suspicious of him.

The fact that he got the One Bid exactly right isn't that lucky; they use the same prizes over and over, and all you really have to do is listen to people in the front row. They're rabid fans, and they always know the prices.

If you end up on stage, do not listen to your friends. Listen to the people in the front row.

  • "youre amazing" lolz

  • good for him! :)

  • If someone knew the number beforehand they would likely state a figure that is close but not right on the nose, especially so when the number ends in "743," which would raise suspicion. Clearly this guy knows prices so he was able to get the bid within 1000 using his skill, and as he said, a number just popped into his head. The "7" is a good luck number so many people would choose it, and the numbers which follow are logical as well because they step lower, i.e., "4" and then "3."

  • Actually, Terry brought up a good point. It's a common practice on game shows to use the same prizes. All the big ones have done It! Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, they even have the exact same descriptions verbatim. See, there are more reasons to watch game shows besides trying to increase the ratings. Chances are you'll go on Friday's show and see the exact same prize as last Tuesday.

  • @FUKCODMW2 nice one

  • It's really not that hard to know prices. TPIR has used the same Libman Mop for 15 years, and it's still $10 in Switcheroo, Pathfinder, Cliff Hangers...

  • Drew was wrong... it had never happened before.

  • @ArtemissimetrA --in 1973

  • CHEATER

  • They say you have a better chance of being hit by lightning than winning the lottery. Well, I have a neighbor that's been hit by lightning TWICE and STILL hasn't won the lottery. He plays the lottery every week...so much for THAT theory. I think the guy just got lucky.

  • he just did his homework, that's all

  • I've been to the Price is Right before. While you're waiting in line people are non-stop quizzing each other on prices, and not just for grocery items but the bigger stuff too. Also they take your stuff before you go in: all electronics (camera, phone, PDA, everything) and make you go through a metal detector. You don't get those things back until you're outside of the studio. So if he cheated he must be really clever to get past the insane security measures they have there. I believe he just d

  • @DoubleM515 d'd. he d'd it

  • i dont get it wat happend??

  • @chunking0 He got his bid right to the exact dollar

  • You also have to ask "why would someone cheat to get it right on, why not just be 50 bucks off", but then again, getting an exact bid will get you notoriety and interviews such as the one right here.

  • As a statistics buff I don't buy this. If he said 23750 and it was right on I would buy it. With the internet age and the fact that he got a passed showcase I think there are several ways one could cheat. I will give him the benefit of the doubt only because TPIR never proved anything - but there are also a lot of things they couldn't prove even if he did cheat.

  • haha barney did this in how i met your mother

  • That's not cheating he just got a good memory lol. How many of us have been watching this all our life.

  • what a nerd. i am proud

  • "...and what's the salsa sauce worth, and what about ecstasy?"

  • @IoEstasCedonta

I think he must have said Ester-C.

  • he must of known exactly how hard to spin the wheel to get to the showdown too right?

  • @gillster347

obviously he knew everything. he knew the product he was bidding on when the show first starts, he knew the game he was going to play, he knew how to spin the wheel, and he knew 743.

this sounds like a cover story.

  • i was on this show aswell ! i was the first guy to come on down ! i saw it all and there is not way he could have cheated... david jahn

  • It's suspected that he got a signal from somebody else. It's covered in an Esquire article. Google: "TV's Crowning Moment of Awesome" to find it.

  • yea dude is smarter than everyone else. not cheating.

  • your awesome.

  • i never thought of that.

  • Even if he did his so called homework theres 1000 possibilities between 23,000 and 23,999. So the 743 would've made him the combination of one of the smartest and certainly luckiest player of all time. Fishy combo

  • @neely7878 shit happens bro

  • wtf...i would cheat to...who the fuck wouldnt on the price is right?

  • @fallonandrondell

Fact: Only assholes cheat. He didn't cheat though, he just knows his stuff.

  • Wow I have to change my opinion I thought he cheated. Now I don't.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow! He's better than Julius from Everybody Hates Chris

  • @Peachtotheinfinity haha, i'm like julius

  • he is from vegas, which means he prolly do a bit of gambling and learned a bit about money from that

  • Talk about knowing his TV show!

  • Link is no longer valid thanks to "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by BBTV_WB." Although I'm sure the original is still up somewhere or under another name.

  • i would love him as a math teacher

  • He needs to be a Teacher

  • if ya watch the show enough, you know they bring up alot of the same prizes up for bid, plus as one commenter said the lack of sponsors for the show kind of give a clue as to what the price is. just look at the everyday commercials for the sponsors of the show and sometimes its a slam dunk as to what they cost.

  • You get thousands of contestants to play a game, one person gets it dead on, he must be a cheater. Bullshit. Are you saying it's statistically impossible for someone to win? Even after thousands of tries? Who the hell would even play a game like that? People have much worse odds in the lotto, and yet some people still get exactly the right numbers

  • @promontorium

    Millions play the lotto though

  • @promontorium You need to take a statistical analysis class my friend. The chance of any 1 person winning the lotto is huge of coure but the odds someone will win it are not nearly as great. You can't compare the two.

  • @scaryplague Listen dip shit, I didn't compare the odds of a specific person winning vs. someone winning, you're making the same illogical leap everyone else is, you see him as "a specific person" rather than an eventuality of statistical probability.

  • @promontorium Yes thats exactly the comparison you made. Anyone reading your original comment can see that. And by calling me a "dip shit" in a youtube comment you've just become another statistic yourself albeit a dubious one. I'm not the only one whose telling you what I told you.

  • Drew was so unemotional, it made people think he cheated, which is ridiculous because Drew never gets animated on this show! They need somebody like Regis!

  • Remember, you can be within $100 or something and still win both showcases. So if he WAS cheating, and did get some inside info, don't you think he would have raised his bid by like a dollar or something? Just so people didn't get suspicious like they are now? Why would he blatantly guess the exact price? The fact that he hit it right on the nose sounds like sheer luck to me. Like those people that have won multiple lottery jackpots within their lifetime.

  • @drzfynest65 if he raised his bid $1 he would have lost, because he would have went over.
