Everyone has an opinion of meat, and being a vegitarian is one of them! Im the only vegetarian in my family, but i know people who are. Dude, it's the food chain. We are at the top thanks to our intellect and courage. Beyond that, though, some animals are man-eaters. My only problem with meat is I find it kind of gross. I like tacos and burgers and pretty much any meat that is cooked thoroughly, but I would much rather eat veggies and fruit. It has nothing to do with my beliefs; it have everything to do with my tastes.
@FantasyJam The food chain is a barbaric but necessary thing for most animals, but us human's in the western world (and some other places on our blue planet) have advanced past reliance on a ritual of slaughtering animals to eat, as there are so many viable alternatives that can provide you with the same nutrients - some may even argue these alternatives are healther than meat.

@TedManiax Yes, but the fruit doesn't feel anything as far as we know, unlike the tree, which gets stressed and feels, but as far as we know, it's different than our pain. In fact, fruit is meant to be eaten, as it carries a seed inside it that can grow into another tree.

I am 14 and went vegan because I wanted to, not because I was born into a "hippy family" (my whole family eats meat). You wouldn't eat your dog; but if you were born in a place where it was acceptable, you would. The point is, we all dream the same dream about living life. Let's all live it! I just updated the note box and realized I typed in the wrong lyrics. It's actually "down on all fours, paralyzed by the now crimson floor." though technically cows aren't bipedal, thus they're always down on all fours. haha. I guess I humanized it, showing a state of defeat, "down on all fours."

Beautiful song, beautiful video! The pain in your voice makes it all the more moving. i recently wrote a poem in first person as a cow being slaughtered, and it was a painful, yet rewarding experience. God bless you. Slaughtering isn't that humane. Maybe you've been to a slaughter house and were impressed? Seeing screaming animals didn't lead me to believe that they were happy. If youre not scared of what you might find out, Id invite you to watch some footage, or get a part time job there so you can see it first hand.
