It's a custom made slide I bought years ago;has a special coating on it.Thats for the great compliments!

What kind of coating is that, if you don't mind my asking, and what gauges and brand of strings do you use?

The slide is special made with some type of ceramic coating and I use standard medium strings(.011-.052) I don't care about brands much. The sound comes from your feel onthe instrument.
