  • One of the best versions on the internet! Awesome! Thank you for blessing our Christmas eve.

  • wounerful voice

  • You have a good voice, and very good vocal control. But the two critical issues I'd address are that Emmanuel doesn't have an "h" in (I know it's often used with singers, but it sounds like you can't change the note or project without the cheat - mine and my best friend's opinions :) ) and that you slur some of your notes, starting off on the wrong notes, and, again, it sounds out of control a bit. Other than that, you have an interesting version. Keep up the singing!

  • We might have to do this one for Christmas this year!

  • God has blessed you with a gift... keep up the good work and contuine prasing God with the this gift , it was truly beautiful :)

  • This could very well be the best version I have ever heard. (I can be very critical but this is very empowering.)

  • Beautiful.Thank you.

  • lovely thanks from london

  • vowels are really out of place and pop-ish, it's a more classical song. But great voice, really.

  • You did very beautifully!

  • lovely singing,that slight american accent (bluesey?)lifts this song....thanks from the U.K.

  • wow u have an awesome voice! Ur vocals just boomed!! :D :D :D Xxo

  • this song always, always makes me cry. The term Ransomed, that hits. Rejoice.

  • Wow, was blown away by this angelic voice. God bless you!

  • This is very, very well done. What a beautiful natural voice. Thanks for the Christmas present.

  • I am singing this song tommorw at church with my chior ,I sing the verses ,and then the choir and congregation sing the refrain

  • love it

  • Could you tell me what key you got this in? The High Medium or Low?

  • @youngcowgirl16 I don't remember since it was sung three years ago. Probbly medium, but you can go to iTunes and listen to 30 second samples of each key to find the one that suits your voice the best. The track information is listed in the comment section associated with the video. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

  • @youngcowgirl16 It sounds like D

    Good luck

    :)

  • love this song...we are dancing to it on christmas eve..

  • Awesome job! You should seriously consider doing a christmas album. It's hard to find artists that follow the normal flow of the song like you do. Great Job and Merry Christmas!

  • @biblegeek01 O come, O come, Emmanuel is a translation of the Catholic Christian Latin text ("Veni, veni, Emmanuel") Its origins are unclear, it is thought that the antiphons are from at least the 8th Century, but "Veni, veni Emmanuel" may well be 12th Century in origin. The text is based on the biblical prophecy from Isaiah 7:14 It is believed that the traditional music stems from a 15th Century French processional for Franciscan nuns but it may also have 8th Century Gregorian origins.

  • could you be so kind and tell me where did you get the music (instrumental version) of this song i've looking for for a long time hope you can help me

  • @aleextorrees The O Come, O Come Emmanuel accompaniment track is by Jaci Velasquez, Ultimate Tracks from Word Records, originally released Oct. 2006. Check any Christian Bookstore for availability.

  • Dammm what an amazing voice(;

  • Dammm What an amazing voice(:

    Love it

  • what a beautiful voice, very nice thank you

  • this song is beautiful

  • Beautifully done! However, I would have liked to have seen a little stage presence. She looks like she's just singing a song. The voice is wonderful but the performance needed a little something more to just make it that much more powerful. This is the kind of song that if you work it just right, you'll have your audience in the palm of your hand.

  • Nice Voice!!

  • Nice!

  • THIS IS OUTSTANDING!!!!! wooow I loved it!!

  • Wow, her voice goes straight through my soul, amazing.

  • 4 people either do not have a heart or are deaf.

    Awesome job!

  • She's better than Enya, you listen to Enya, you'll be there for 2 years, she makes the song so long. But, yeah, this girl's nothing short of amazing!

  • This is so awesome to me. Enya does an awesome version too. I just wish it were fully ion English! :) The melody of this song is so "Holy" sounding. Can't you just imagine the Jewish people singing this song before the 1st coming of Christ? GOD had been silent for a long time and they really needed a "spiritual awakening." Yes, even back then. They knew the Messiah had been promised to come and they waited patiently, but longingly. Can't you hear them sing this very song? O Come Emmanuel...

  • Amazing! Absolutely beautiful voice!

  • Truly Amazing(: Love this song! Always been my favorite since I was little:D

  • I'm singing o come o come emmanuel for my church's christmas show but cant seem to find an accompaniment that fits my voice. however i really enjoyed this one and it was sung beautifully. is there a link where i can buy or download this instrumental version?

  • @qtpuppy7 I looked for and couldn't find the track used on this video. Unfortunately, I can't remember who the original artist was that did the song. The only thing i remember is that the instrumental track was purchased at a Christian bookstore. I would suggest going to a Christian bookstore after Thanksgiving to see if they can help you find the track. I am sorry I couldn't help you any more than that. Good luck.

  • @jfinch47 I think I found the track! Just send me a message. It was pretty hard to find but I was able to do so. You have an amazing voice!! :)

  • @qtpuppy7 I found the information regarding the performance track used on O Come, O Come Emmanuel. The artist is Jaci Velasquez on a Studio Series Performance Track CD. This can be purchased through a local Christian Bookstore, or it can be found online.

  • this rendition is truely chilling well done

  • Urgh. Good voice, but I can't stand the arrangement. This song should be sung with a full choir and a church organ, not a diva backed by synths.

  • Hey, a bunch of us in Utah are doing a Christian concert series called Alive and the next one's in December. Thought I'd give it a shot and ask you if you want to come sing for the youth in Utah. I'll give you more info if you're interested. Our email is alive.net86@ymail.com

  • Wow how beautiful and perfect....Way to go!

  • This is superb! Was it ever recorded for sale?

  • Very nice

  • So pretty...one of my favorites!

  • by the way "O Come O Come Emmanuel on Nadolig Aled" Is a Welsh Language version by Aled Jones that is truly breath taking and I would recomend it to anyone who enjoyed this excellent version.

  • it is true that God's name is not God although the upper case LORD is used in His name's stead as it was felt too irreverent to actually use His name.

Regarding the wonderful singing, thank you for posting this video.

  • this is a very sweet and nice song

  • Why is there only one video of this talented singer?!!

Great rendition of this eternal song!!

  • Hi thank you for the compliment. My daughter Jamie sang this at our church service for Christmas Eve. Even though we and others have encouraged her to record professionally she chooses not to. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas!!
