Ah yes, this calls up some memories I have of Botswana and, specifically, of some of the hot-dogging 20-something British and Aussie "pilots" whose flying "skills" I saw close up while on safari in Botswana. Unfortunately for their passengers, the swagger of these young and irresponsible pilots did not equal their piloting skill and judgment. Amazing that some of companies for which they worked let them get away with this -- low-flying, hot-dog maneuvers, undisciplined airmanship.

How did you get set up to do your flying in Africa? I would love to ask more questions, I am currently finishing my CPL in the states and wondering what I am going to do with only 300hrs. There is some work available to me but nothing even close to full time... my e-mail joe.wyo@gmail.com
