@danophile07 Well said, the synth was used tastefully in the 80s, it was not the primary driving force of the music it was there to add atmosphere and enhance the music, nowdays its all synth even the singing which is tragic.

They were an AOR band, only did one album unfortunately. Mark free (now Marcie free, sex change) was also in bands king kobra and unruly child. This album though is one of my favourite albums. If you like melodic AOR then you'll love this :)

King Kobra was as good as those. The second album is more the style of the bands and solo stuff he did. Listen to "Thrill of a lifetime", the second cd of King Kobra. Just amazing!

Mark Free should have been a household name. It's a shame that such a talented person couldn't get that big break. Anyway, the music he has made is some of the best that I've ever heard. The Signal album has to be one of the most solid albums ever. The Unruly Child stuff is fantstic. The solo albums are great. Mark/Marcie is a vocal god!
