  • I adore this commercial. Your view (according to the description of the video) is very one sided. When I see this video with a woman in a child's room; it shows that a woman does not have to have had an abortion to be pro-choice. Being pro-choice isn't about being pro-abortion; it's about keeping women's right to choose.

    Secondly, I would like to point out that a child and a foetus are two different things. Is an egg a chicken? No and therefore your argument is invalid.

    Research a few things. How many women get abortions "just for kicks" (you will find none) compared to those who are in poverty, had birth control fail or would have lost their lives. Take away the right to choose and you're the one killing people.

    Discoveries in astronomy and physics have shown beyond a reasonable doubt that our universe did in fact have a beginning. Prior to that moment there was nothing; during and after that moment there was something: our universe. The big bang theory is an effort to explain what happened during and after that moment.

    Scientists use of the term "the singularity" to describe what was there prior to the big bang. It's the same thing we believe, we just know that your "singularity" is God.

    While this may not prove Biblical creation for you (or anyone cuz none of us were there) it makes more sense than premordial Frankenstein model where amino acids clump together, forming proteins, then get electrocuted (by lightning, or a 220 outlet) and started self-replicating (ie became alive). Scientists, finally seeing impossibilty of this (it can't even be reproduced in controlled experiments) now flock to "alien seed" theory (life from intelligence, just don't call it God)

So the phrase translated to English as “chew the cud” literally means something on the order of “eats that which is brought forth again.” because of the Hebrew word used " 'alah".

THIS is the only proof that God gives: creation presupposes creator (and I'm not even saying the Christian God at this point; just that some intelligence created everything).   • As far as slavery goes (and the presumed assent God gives because He gives instruction as to how slaves are to be treated): In Bible times slavery was not akin to the african slave trade that europeans (and later americans) practiced. It was muchmore like indentured servitude. This to: pay off debts, ward off poverty, etc. These servants had protections and human right more like employees.

    The kidnapping, possession, AND sale of humans was punishable by death (Ex 21:16). God is not unjust!

  • i am pro-life. abortion has become less of a choice and more of a business where doctors and family pressure the mother into abortion. also, i believe abortion is not about denying a woman's rights- it's about preserving another's. woman still have a choice when they are pregnant: adoption, keeping the child. if the child is not adopted and put into an orphanage than yes, his/her life will be difficult but they does not mean that his/her life was never worth living.. please think before aborting

Child abuse happens to too many children in the foster care and adoption agencies, why would you willingly send someone into that, wouldn't you want to prevent that?

I don't want kids, I never have, and people would rather force me into a disgusting situation in which I have to choose the fate of another person, a life of shit or a short and sweet existence of doing nothing but float around and then peacefully slip away into nothing by euthanasia, I don't want it ripped apart.

I strongly disagree when ppl say the fetus is more important my focus is on the person already living-=who will suffer many problems having a child including health problems to getting a job. The funding for adoption system is poor and is full, why brign more unwanted children into the world?

  • I'm personally for choice. Since the worlds already over populated what's the point in adding more? Not like that many humans left have "good genes" physically wise, myself included, what if you give birth and it's so messed up from mix of genes that it can't survive on it's own for the rest of it's life, like a vegetable, it would *most likely* be depressed from that. Anyway, your more likely to stick with what ever you learn first, unless it's not brought up, then it's personal opinion.

  • @crazyability sorry just saw you're comment. eh, i have actually heard people say they rather would of not been born than go through what they've gone though. i think it's foster care? they go live with different families and dont have one of their own, and the foster parents might be, inappropriate and mistreat the children. a child actually feels the pain of being hurt and not being loved, a fetus does not :/ .

If a child is raped, they can raise their child, with help, or if it is too hard for them, there is always adoption. There is a never a time when abortion is necessary. I'm not deciding anything, but the fact of the matter is that abortion is murder, so either tell me 1. Why abortion isn't murder, or 2. why murder is acceptable.
