Yes! Other than Glendale's sucky traffic planning, it was a great time. I took a friend who knew nothing of the team/game and 10 mins in she was the rowdiest in the crowd. Tobin and Alex really changed the game - the energy amped the second they stepped on the field.

Hope and Abby are both amazing athletes and are great at what they do, keeper and forward; they represent their sport, country and themselves well. Hope is high maintenance and Abby is down to earth. @Devine071 No, actually its FACT. I can find twice as many videos proving my opinion. Its also a FACT that she was thrown off the WNT for publicly criticizing teammates and the coaching staff. Its a FACT she was fined by the WPS for publicly criticizing people in their organization. Not opinion, FACT. Do some research. Oh, and GFY.

She was young and emotionally distraught during the "07 world cup (her father died days before the tournament started) and she expressed her opinions on refs and what they did during a game. @cantrememberchit As for the tweets, she was expressing her concern for a POORLY officiated game. Is she the only athlete that has done that?? She wasn't criticizing the character or insulting the refs personally she was simply pissed at how the refs did their job. She didn't use curse words or profanity. It was all clean. I've seen worse athletes say shit about refs, ON LIVE T.V.!!!!! Hope clearly stated her disgust for what happened in the game and specific game circumstances, not the people.

@selenagomez1278 Thanks. Yes, this video shows how well rounded her game is: shoots well with either foot, great air game, strong, fast, big, and plays with determination and intensity. Also, a good clutch player and a good team leader. Plus, a fun person to be around, at the end, with Letterman. Notice that like a true goalie, Hope came off her line in order to beat Abby in the cab kick game. Dave came in a distant third. But he doesn't "kick much." ;)

@DexterHaven49 oh, yes. what's not to love about Abby? she's great on and off the field and her personality just makes me wanna be with her right now. i think she possesses every quality a great soccer player needs to have. it broke my heart to see her come home "empt-handed" bc she wanted the cup super badly so now i cant wait until the olympics and the 2015 world cup. if she wants it, she will get it!

They didn't seem as close on this show. I think Hope is hard to get along with. Abby compliments Hope often, saying she's the best goalie in the world and player of the match. But notice that Hope does not return compliments to Abby, who was the true player of the match, i thought. Just something to consider. I suspect Hope has a big ego and is high maintenance.

@DexterHaven49 hope compliments her all the time. in like every interview. i think that these 2 have been throught a lot together and i think that made them close. if u remember back in 07 how the whole team shown hope after the comments that she said, they have gotten past it and are now friends i think that these two she stay close cause they are the only two i think have as much passion, hardwork and focus to win the next world cup for the us. i really hope they get along.

Where on YouTube, for example? And how come Hope didn't return one single compliment to Abby in the ESPN interview clip I showed here, if what you say is true? I hope you aren't just making that up but can support it somehow. I have watched all the games and interviews and have not seen it yet.
