After watching the story about Uruguayan rugby team disaster, I know that this is not that the furthest limit of human capabilities. But it gets damn close. It makes me so humble to realize what a human can really endure. My problems seem to be so ridiculous.
You can't rehydrate by eating ice or snow. The energy you need to warm the snow, to bring the water to the same temperature than your body is just enormous. You'll loose all your energy and suffer from hypothermy before even starting to feel less thirsty.
