Amazing how quick the topspeed is attained with the LS3 btw! Engine sound is great, but it will really stand out with a good aftermarket exhaust. I'd choose the B&B Bullets or the Borla Stingers with LG LT SS' to start with :)
Damn! That was like 190 mph or so. I know the 6 speed manual's advertised top speed is 190 mph. I wasn't sure what the automatics top speed was. I guess it's the same, if not more than the manual. I'm impressed.

This was an LS3 with the 6L80 6 speed automatic and damn it got up there quick. Those that don't know about the A6 will soon learn. I have been in a few 08s and the auto is ridiculous to 60 and a little quicker than the stick. A 4.02 first gear helps vs the previous 3.06.
But think about it. It's been what, 17 years? The new SS Camaro is about 110hp more than your LT4 Corvette. It's basically about as good as a lightly tuned LT4. You can get there with all motor. Cheaper if you try FI.

This was an LS3 with the 6L80 6 speed automatic and damn it got up there quick. Those that don't know about the A6 will soon learn. I have been in a few 08s and the auto is ridiculous to 60 and a little quicker than the stick. A 4.02 first gear helps vs the previous 3.06.

I had a 89 vert,

It was an LT-1 but horsepower was like 265, or something weak.
I ended up with a 92 coupe that was faster, and smoother, LT-1 300hp Auto w/ a 3:42 rear end? 166 is all I ever saw.
Hell, the new 6 cyl Camero has 305 hp Right?

Yeah, and the new V6 is so much better on gas.
But think about it. It's been what, 17 years? The new SS Camaro is about 110hp more than your LT4 Corvette. It's basically about as good as a lightly tuned LT4. You can get there with all motor. Cheaper if you try FI.
For all I know, I'm loving every second of my 94 Z28. It's a piece of shit, it's literally falling apart. But boy it GOES!

Too funny!.....those warning in the DIC are classic!....I've run mine (C-5) up to 174, but no warning flashed as I recall? heck, I probably didin't see'em cause I was focused on the road!

yeah bugatti veyron fastest car in the world?? and getss beaten by a 93 mclaren F1... at least 0-130 mph go search here on youtube.. bugatti is only a prestige car... a corvette is 1000 times more cheaper than a bugatti and really is a beast machine.. so i really prefer the Zr1

legindario.. I agree with you. Bugatti got beaten by the mclaren F1 in real world driving. That car is 19 years old now.
Bugatti is flawed.. over weight, needed lots of engineering and cost more to build than they sell. Its nothing but a car for the rich to show but for me, its just a luxury Audi TT. Nothing special.

The ZR-1 does beat it..but the fastest top speed car in the WORLD is the Bugati Veyron..not sure of spelling..but it runs like 240mph...and Im pretty sure its 0-60 time is like 2 seconds? Un-sure of that..but I THINK thats what they said the 0-60 time was...its named FASTEST CAR IN THE WORLD
