@haxxzourz Of course, this is just for aesthetic looks. This vid was made before pistons became vanilla, so now if you want a real drawbridge, pistons are your best friend.

You would think you could just use simple wiring with a lever, but I tried making a drawbridge on my own and it is not NEARLY as simple as one might think.

I challenge you to create an even more simplistic, yet still functional, drawbridge design and post as a video-reply.

If you can do this, you will have my respect, for whatever that's worth.

is there a mod to make the world all flat, or did you use world edit or something?

@blade3412 I used a program called MCEDIT. It's thread should give you all the info you need.

nice circuting but u can do this with just redstone connected to a lever, no realy need for complex wiring =/

@VitalizingVideos Yeah, that's the most effective design and the one I'll probably use the most. This video is really only for those who want to hide redstone as much as possible.
