@KevBoy3D Reactive moment is present only when a support resists the moment due to applied force. The roller support will try to roll while the hinge support will let the body to swing or rotate about the hinge. ONLY the FIXED support resists the moment and hence there is a reactive moment about this hinge.

How come a roller restraints doesn't generate a reactive moment force?
