  • This is lovely...

I liked the change in character for Mushnik..

If he's acting "Kamp" is he also meant to be Jewish.

    Little confused :P

But it was really nice change to the tradition :)

Seymour seemed like 14 year old boxer too :)

  • I like the idea of making Mushnik a little different physically, but maybe this was a bit far.

  • not gay at alllll! lol

  • wat the fook

  • i personally likes this performance. it made me laugh... thats the whole point of this song. its suppored to be funny. i loved the way mushnik played his character. its different. good job :)

  • !??!?!?

  • Alright, granted I'm not Mushnik, we're just seeing if we have the personnel to do LSOH. And, granted, I'm not the world's best singer.

But I could play this part COLD-READ better! Mushnik is NOT a homosexual nutjob, he's a grouch and a sleeze.

The vocal expression, physicality, the whole tone of the character- went for sleezy/creepy and just ended up looking like a clown. At least I can study this and learn what NOT to do for Mushnik.

    Seymour, however, wasn't bad........

  • FUCK THIS MUSHNIK!

  • discraseful

  • I played Mushnik in our production and not to be rude but this person who played Mushnik shouldn't even be considered an actor, absolutly ruined IT!!!!! and he is acting and talking as if he was homosexual

  • WHAT IS WRONG WITH MUSHNIK.

  • WTF is up with the music, Mushnik, AND the Dentist (Orin)?? Who chose these people? Who is the director and choreographer? This is embarassing...wtf?? wow...so weird. Not good, I'm sorry.

  • ive been in an orchestra band, and ive been mushnik. both sucked.

  • Worse then when I saw a girl play Mushnik.

  • Mushnik walks like some kind of ape - as I said - it says in the front of the script how he should be played - he could POTENTIALLY be very comical but this version ruined it.

Look at how many laughs it got - VERY FEW

  • i totally agree wasnt very good.. whats with mushnik he gay now?

my college show was well better than this :)

    no offense.

  • He does not know how to act and probably thought what he was doing was funny, however it was rediculous

  • My sklz production waz sooooooooooo much beta

  • I was Mushnik in my production and it was better than yours

  • I played Mushnik in New Orleans, and I never saw one as terrible as this one.

  • there is no need for that kind of profanity.

  • there is no need for this kind of acting/ singing in public.

  • Umm...rediculous. This is terrible. Little Shop, while a wacky, funny show, must be done with a grain of seriousness otherwise it become tacky and cheesy like some show on the Disney Channel

  • Well, it certainly is original. I have never quite seen characters perform like this before. And the singing. Very original... rebellious even. Doing their own thing. Congrats on a truly unique twist on a otherwise wonderful musical.

  • It's just way too pantomime - Mushnik is played like a freak.

  • I have to agree, Mushnik scares me. And was Seymour smacking his ass at the plant?

  • Too much movement and the body language said all kinds of things not in charicter to Mushnik.

  • The beginning of the script details how the show SHOULD be played - you guys took the piss with it and really ruined potential by trying to play for laughs too much.

  • You mean, by trying to do something different with song, so that it's not just another Mushnik and Son performance, we ruined it? okay. that's nice. I still like our verson better.

  • CRAP.

    Where are the harmonies??

  • no where to be found=\

  • TEMPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG TEMPO!!!!

  • looove the octopus arms erich!

  • can u add sominex/suppertime

  • I didn't record sominex/suppertime. The only other recorded song was too large to upload. sorry.

  • Mushnik needs to listen to the orchestra more. Also, what's up with the two sleeping girls by Twoey?

  • Sorry, but I was wondering if you could clarify why Mr. Mushnik needs to listen to the orchestra more... I watched it again, but he seems pretty accurate for the most part. Oh, and I believe the two girls are part of the plant, representing vines or roots. I guess they dont' really become active until "Git It" which is the song after this. There is a video of the "Suppertime" scene floating around showing what they do.

  • Wow, this is hilarious! Mr. Mushnik is so amusing! I'm also impressed by the other actors, the set, and the even the plant! This is definately very impressive for a high school musical, it is very professionally done!

  • This scene was worth the price of admission alone. Erich was sooooooooooooo funny. The play was awesome if 5th Ave does not give it some sort of award there is no justice.

The kids did a wonderful job, they poured their blood, sweat, tears, heart and soul into this production.

  • Maybe they should've poured talent in there too.

  • It was a high school musical, I suppose you could do better?

  • actually, we did do better lol, I'll try to upload our Mushnik & Son, But I don't know how to get the scenes off the DVD with my computer. Do you know of any software that can do that??

  • You call that talent? LOL

  • ??? I don't get what you mean. What am I calling talent?? All I said was I'm having difficulty getting the scenes off our dvd.

  • ANYONE could do better than this crap, we certainly are. i watch this for a good laugh,LOL
