@supermaustify i think the reason why it may seem to sound like the doors is mainly cuz glenn danzig may have been influenced or inspired by some of the music by black sabbath, and the doors. correct me if im wrong
@BikiniDeathSquad Actually when they first started out they were just a 3 piece band, Danzig on keyboards and vocals, Diane Dipiazza on bass, and Manny Martinez on drums
The music died with the attitude, when was the last time you heard of a current "badass rockband" getting arrested for destruction of private property, grave robbing, or fighting. All the rebels are gone, punk, rock, and metal are dominated by the 13-18 year old girls marketing demographic. Punk is still alive, but its underground. People need to start hitting local shows full of bands theyve never heard of if they want raw music.
@daydreamnation66 legacy of brutality was a compilation of songs from the beginning til that came out. its from the original static age recordings not when the physical static age album came out like 10+ years after inception
jerry only played this song in 2008,here in Monterrey Nuevo Leon México, when Robo had a problem with the drum that took past some minutes, suddenly Jerry,he only started to play the song, him only with the bass, just him, without the drum or the guitar(?),him just, was great,a great moment
i still have that memory,T__T is for that, that i still go to the concerts of Misfits when they come to my city since 2007,2008,2009 , so bad that this year they dont will come T__T
The people who them self "singers" today may as wellhold a sign saying "Help me I sound like a dyeing animal when I sing" cuse compared to these guys pop is wimpy!!

I think it was also on Legacy of Brutality, too. I'm not sure but it's probably a different version; a different recording.

what happened to this kind of music???
most bands today make their music for the money while back then it would just be to create something new
