Yeah, there wasn't any mention of the arcade machine history (besides the short tournament reference/footage) because it was strictly a marketing spot to sell the console version. And yep, freestyling on a soft mat never leads to good results, haha. But eh, it got PIU some TV time which is what matters I suppose. I don't mind looking silly :P

This is one of my favorite routines of yours. Sucks that they made you play on softpads. I'd like to be able to do pretty good freestyles someday on Pump. I remember the one time I tried a handstand. I fell sideways a little and slammed my foot into the bar on the way down. Fun stuff!

NOTE: If someone is using a Home version of PIU, DDR, or ITG, don't expect them to pass. Soft pads are loose on your stepping most of the time. Hard (Arcade) pads are more accurate.

If you play a lot on soft pads you can actually become better with them. I know a lot of DDR\ITG players who are better on soft pads rather than hard. I'm straight up hard pad though...

heheh he missing some what a lot from what i saw XD and up yours smidget "ddr/itg" can be called a stepping game but your crossin the line when you call players "robots".. you can freestyle all you want dude im gonna keep to the 90%+ range on almost any song player edit or not..

Of course I'm missing steps, they're soft pads. Please read the description before commenting: "And just remember, they are soft/home pads. Freestyling on soft pads = stupid." I never play on soft pads, only in the arcade. The whole thing about PIU being for freestyle and other games not was the direction they took the PR campaign. It's not like I had 5 minutes to really describe the differences.

ITG 3 is being developed by the community and will suck a lot. Konami has the rights to the franchise and the official ITG 3 will not come out.
