This is terribly choreographed when compared to other films of its genre.

Also lol at yours two argument. Zhang Fei RWBBn00b you're correct, was very artistic. He was also very unthinking in his battle tactic however which more than once saw him get his men killed and himself surrounded in battle. I'm not saying it didn't also help him occasionally, but to try and make out he was a defensive tactical genius is just untrue.

Read up on Zhang Fei, please.

He made pretty few mistakes(and most of them were early on in his career), and many major important victories.

He and Wei Yan were also the main men behind Shu's impenetrable defence(until Jiang Wei got the bright idea to remove it, dooming Shu).

Zhang Fei was the best Shu commander/tactician after Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang(proved himself in the Northern campaigns, not before).

Historical Zhang Fei was an unpleasant(the way he treated his men is about the same as in fiction, except he hasn't the excuse of being drunk) but brilliant man. Cold-hearted, calculating and strategic. Created Shu's best fortifications through his knowledge and was their primary tactician outside Liu Bei(who was also an unpleasant(though not in the same way) but brilliant man).
