Essential component = Random Number Generator needed for secure communication with the chips. They can't use this RNG circuit now because of patent issues. if you get asked if you wanna pay £40 for a train between A and B in england, or £15 prebooked if you pay via your card and give your details to the database to be tracked from place to place. course this wont stop terrorists, they'll pay cash, or just use valid credit cards, like the 911 and madrid bombers used valid id etc. they get us to comply ourselves, with cash incentives.

rfid transmits using radio waves so there is now way to validate "where" the radio came from. much easier for spoofers. embedded or not it adds no security because of the problem of "where". rfid is really nothing more than a glorified bar-code and should be trusted as little. in fact it is much easier to clone than a bar-code because it is digital and transmitted invisibly.

the joke of it all is that rfid can be cloned easier than a credit card. and insanity of embedded chips is that they will be cloned without people even knowing. criminals will be able to skim in peoples ids in numerous ways without them even knowing, with hidden readers and such. it will be a cyber pickpockets dream. it will be trivial to implant a cloned rfid to get passed passport regulations. ironically they are making it even easier than for future crime. nice vids

doesn't matter. for any computer part or program invented to do some function. There can always be another program to undo bust crack modify any other. Nothing is fool proof in electronics these days :)
