  • haha i love how sheldon has to squat a foot to get down to leonard's level, adorable

  • so, Sheldon wants Lenard to poke a long rod down his throat... :)

  • Fuck you CBS

  • if you think about it that kind of looks wrong

  • @SuperFlexiboy On the contrary, not really

  • gelatin is not a sufficient growth medium, it melts under incubation temperatures. He need to get a hold of some agar.

  • Sheldon, you are not sick. This....is, but you are not. LOL

  • I'm not insane, my mom got me tested!

  • a yoghurt making involves the use of lactobacillus, yogurt is always lactose free

  • Blame the yogurt on penny.

  • @raydredX you mean the Milk theath? XD

  • @MarlenaKeller You mean thief? Yeh XD

  • "...typhoid penny..." HAHAHA

  • penny finished the yogurt, of course!

  • People who are lactose intolerant still eat lactose things. My friend is lactose intolerant and she still eats cheese pizza (for some reason).

  • @Sursion7

duh because pizza is worth it. pizza is like the greatest food ever, especially when made with top quality ingredients which makes it alot easier to digest.

little c's hot n sweaty on the other hand is akin to eating melted plastic on doughy cardboard.

  • you know you're in the 21st century when, after viewing a comedy clip, everyone is commenting about lactose intolerance...

  • Comment removed

  • I do the same position... except it's for something "different"

  • im thinking lactofree yoghurt. leonard's lactose intolerance is severe because he farted when he was on a date with doctor stephanie after eating a bit of cheese dip

  • to everyone that's saying he polished off the yogurt, who knows, it could have been lactose free yogurt or he may have been talking about Howard or Raj, even Penny.

  • @SillyNerdify

Some people with lactose intolerance take tablets which allow them to eat dairy without getting sick later. Maybe he just did that...

  • @Icetor01

Also, being lactose intolerant doesn't mean you can't eat anything with dairy. It just means you can't tolerate large quantities and not in pure form (like milk). It's also possible that Leonard's lactose intolerance isn't that severe.

  • Their physics advisors are not exactly top-notch, either. They make howlers there all the time, while presenting themselves as using accurate physics. It's a funny show and I like watching it, but it's a long ways from being scientifically accurate, in much of anything.

  • Sheldon is a pop science apparatus. Almost everything he says comes from a pop physics book meant for laypeople. Sheldon is also incredibly ignorant about biology, saying inaccurate things and even here, he doesn't have any kind of burner for sterile plating. Not to mention the jello is TEEMING with various bacteria already adapted to the surface which would very readily outcompete the assumed bacterial pathogen adapted to physiological conditions.

  • @RedDaVincy yea no duh... as a science "nerd" who works in a lab for a living, it's obvious that the big bang theory's depiction of science geniuses is imperfect. also, the advisers to the show are physicists and so wouldn't know anything about aseptic technique. the point is that most people don't care and thus find the show funny. i personally love it, despite its inaccuracies. it's up to you if you want to overlook them or not.

  • @karabas1543 It's an inconsistency with one of the characters that he should be so ignorant in one experiment, and then written to be some sort of super mastermind genius by all the awards and honors he gets showered with. That doesn't tick you off in the slightest?

  • @RedDaVincy Well it's not an ultra-realistic show (e.g. why do they always play mmorpgs with computers running on battery power while using the track pad for a mouse?). And it's not supposed to be, because the characters and the events that happen to them are caricatures, not factual representations of what science nerds are like. The funny part of the show comes from the fact that Sheldon is making his own agar plates. How he appears to be doing it on the show is secondary.

  • @karabas1543 I guess I'm an idealist, thinking that writers will go that extra mile for, you know, coherence. Long gone are those days.

  • @RedDaVincy I think it's more of confusing genres than being an idealist. For example, when you watch Pixar movies, you don't complain that the people in them look exactly like real life, even if it's possible to do with modern technology. You understand that the cartoonishness is part of the genre. TBBT is not about the science per se, it's more about the people. So the attention to it is secondary.

  • @karabas1543 You're right. It belongs to a genre of sub-par situational comedies that necessarily appeal to the lowest common denominator.

  • @RedDaVincy Heh. Well then don't watch it :) I personally enjoy it, but I don't require anybody else to and I do understand your problem with it.

  • um... jello plates don't sound lie very effective media. i doubt their selective/differential enough for him to actually tell what's pathogenic and what's his normal mouth flora

  • @Samoaqueen i.love.you.

  • I hate this show!...Bazinga!

  • I'd swab his throat. ^_^

  • God I love this show.

  • Hey is that the kid from roseanne all grown up??

  • That slap and him bending down quickly almost could be a dance. lol

  • he's the new rowan atkinson

  • @hitibiru ..but sexier ;)

  • "sheldon you are not sick!THIS is.. but you're not!! XDXDXD

  • Silly Sheldon, I love him, but he can swab his own throat :)

  • funny show! do these guys seem flame-ish to anyone?

  • how can Leonard polish of the yogurt? he's lactose intolerant....

  • @Yummmm13579

Maybe he needed it earlier to create a temporary gas chamber to keep Sheldon away, when he was pissing him off?

  • @Yummmm13579 i

    I think he meant PENNY.

The writer would not make this mistakes..

  • @Yummmm13579 Most lactose intolerant people can digest yogurt without ill effects as most of the lactose sugar in the original milk has been converted into lactic acid by the bacterial culture.

  • @Yummmm13579 Because he didn't polish it with his mouth!

  • @Yummmm13579 maybe it's soy yogurt but I think he's talking about Penny

  • @Yummmm13579 If the yogurt had live cultures, it would actually be *good* for someone who's lactose intolerant.

  • @Yummmm13579 lactose free yogurt! DURR

  • @MasterDancer29 then why hasn't he taken it all along??? there has been so many jokes about his problem through the whole show!

  • @Yummmm13579 Maybe he was referring to penny? Lawl who even cares anyway...its just a tv show.

  • @Yummmm13579 lactose free.....duhh...

  • @Yummmm13579 there is a pill that allows you to have milk products for a period of time.

  • @Yummmm13579 He meant penny.

  • :O

  • slap, stomp, mouth

  • cornhusking antibodies....ROFL I heart Sheldon

  • wow iv watched 6 clips of this show and almost all of them have comments that make me feel as smart monkeys ass

  • Nebraska Sucks!

  • I wish I could live with Sheldon...

  • @MrRbaja Be careful for what you wish for :P

  • @MrRbaja No, you wish you lived across the hall. lets room together!

  • just an idea, why doesn't sheldon do it himself??

  • these jello cultures and my accompanied notes will give them a fighting chance LOL

  • If Big Bang theory was on Fox then they will cancel it like firefly. Good thing it not.

  • Thats right.... bend over and beg men to put long, tubular objects down your throat late at night. I see how this show works >.>

  • sheldon is the most amazing person ever

  • @Lonlywolf89 i so agree with you he is the best isnt he?

  • i love you shelton.you make me love you each time even more

  • @sheltonsfun You love Sheldon so much you even miss-spell his name.

  • 0:46

Sheldon look a bit like Mister Bean :)

  • @MjmXerses and more better :)))

  • he thinks ahead at least

  • Im in love with sheldon:D

  • lol, yogurt cannot be used to cultivate throat cultures because of the low pH. lime jello too.

  • How could Leonard finish the Apricot Yogurt when he's meant to be lactose intolorant?

  • @ThatBritishVlogger I just thought of that too...

  • @ThatBritishVlogger Who farted?

  • @ThatBritishVlogger there's lactose free products on the market ?

  • @ThatBritishVlogger Lactose intolerant people can sometimes eat yogurt and cheese as a lot of the lactose will get metabolized by the bacteria they contain.

  • @smariot I never thought of it but is yogurt paturized? Can that make a difference if it is? I've been looking for ways to build up my immune system after radiation treatments. People say eat yogurt but it doesn't seem to be working. Thanks. :)

  • @Songsmirth If it's pasteurized then all the bacteria in it would be dead, which doesn't sound like what you want. My guess would be that if it contains live bacteria then it would be marketed as probiotic.

  • @ThatBritishVlogger yogurt is lactate free

  • @ThatBritishVlogger maybe penny did it.

  • @ThatBritishVlogger a lot of lactose intolerant ppl can digest yogurt and cheese

  • @ThatBritishVlogger low lactose maybe :p

  • @ThatBritishVlogger for those who haven't taken a university nutrition class, yogurt is easier to digest because the bacteria has broken down some of the lactose. lactose intolerant people usually don't have enough lactase enzyme to digest the lactose in say, a glass of milk, so they get bloating, upset stomach, etc etc. Yogurt is generally a good start for those who are intolerant and want to test the water with milk products ;)

  • @ThatBritishVlogger When Sheldon said SOMEONE ate the yogurt he meant Penny. Not Leonard.

  • @ThatBritishVlogger there is lactose-free yogurt....

  • @ThatBritishVlogger agreed, but also it could be lactose free.... though would he want lactose free agar for his plates.... hmmmm :)

  • @mandapandabug Agar plates are based on agarose, his are based on a mixture of sucrose, glucose and fructose in unmeasured quantities.

  • @ThatBritishVlogger maybe Penny ate it or someone else..

  • @ThatBritishVlogger sheldon forgot something D8

  • @ThatBritishVlogger maybe raj, howard, or maybe even penny finished it

  • @ThatBritishVlogger LACTOSE FREE = LOOPHOLE

  • @ThatBritishVlogger they make yogurt from lactose free milk.

  • @crazypoptarts09 Now go save a kitten from a tree

  • @Culturealimprovement ...what?

  • @ThatBritishVlogger There are free lactose yogurts

  • @ThatBritishVlogger it couldve been the milk thief D:

  • @ThatBritishVlogger It was made by soya.

  • @ThatBritishVlogger im lactose intolorant and i do fine with yogurt.....am i missing something? lol

  • @ThatBritishVlogger

    lactose free yogurt.

  • @ThatBritishVlogger maybe penny?

  • @ThatBritishVlogger his lactose intolerance is relatively mild, there have been a few episodes in which he ate a small amount of dairy and only suffered minor consequences... I don't remember the character's name, but one of the girls he went out with briefly tried to alleviate his embarrassment by saying something like "you ate some cheese and you farted, no big deal"... my BFF on the other hand would be sent to the hospital with debilitating abdominal pain if she had one bite of cheese

  • ... *blush*

  • OMG this episode is awesome

  • LOVE the show.

Did he get "Soft Kitty" sung to him in that episode?

  • @crushme99 Yeah, he teaches it to Penny =)

  • they have bias for nebraska

  • 9 ppl got the "nebraska disease"

  • Sheldon is my favourite character in this show. ^ ^

  • sheldon is too cute :)

  • to him, the doctors are inferior minds XD

  • Are they gays (havent seen the show)?

  • @maxiflo no

  • @maxiflo No, but yo momma is.

  • @hodoboc OK, this must be a sensitive topic for you. Are you confident in your sexuality? Sorry.

It was a justified question. Two men living together and wearing bed jackets.

  • @maxiflo homophobe much? men can be close without being gay welcome to the mordern world mr 1940's point of view

  • @Vashoth What? I genuinely wanted to know, since I haven't actually seen the show.

  • @maxiflo

    Naah. They're best friends/roommates :)

You should definitely watch the show, though. :)

  • someone should introduce sheldon cooper and adrian monk to each other

  • so.. this is basicly the next show after scrubs? like friends was before them. it just looks like all the srubs fans just teleported over to this show o0. ( Best show ever, blablabla, actor X is the funniest ever). you get where im comming from lol.

  • @cyony Yeah basicly,

Freinds to Scrubs to Big Bang Theory to god knows what,

  • im confused cant you swab your own throat then? lol

  • @tclol Exactly, lol.

  • Comment removed

  • how could 'someone' (Leonard) 'polish off the apricot yogurt' when he's lactose intolerant?

Or maybe he's not referring to Leonard...

  • Never try to get in debate with Dr Sheldon Cooper ... You'll never win :p

  • @pedralicamosa unless you're his mother

  • Will or Is Sheldon the worlds funniest man ?

  • OMG sheldon is great hahaha LOL, a geeky little nerd..

  • Not only is it frustrating for other peple to suck at everything, it is also frustrating to know a subject so well that any inferior intellectual capacity suddenly seems to make discussion such a drag.

  • Leonard is cute! I've been watching too much BBT...

  • @eizhowa you can't get enough:D:D:D

  • In Soviet Russia, Sheldon's throat swabs you.

  • Omg Sheldon's right! Leonard IS a homunclus! D:

  • best show ever, sheldon is hilarious:)

  • I think its funny how far Sheldon has to bend down to get to Leonard's height

  • @RedDfan1 He is fairly short, isn't he? xD

  • @MrSpockify nah, sheldon's just too damn tall XD

  • @RedDfan1 I think the kitchen floor is elevated compared to the rest of the apartment's floors. But yeah, Leonard is pretty short.

  • corn husking antibodies!!!

  • Lol, there's a better part after this where Leonard finds out that the cup he uses for pancake mix was actually being used to test urinal by Sheldon.

  • да ты придурок чтоли???

  • Wait...how could have Leonard ate all the yogart if he's lactose intolerent???

  • LOL I've seen this one and in the end Sheldon gets sick!!!

This show is the one where sheldon gets all sick, search Big Bang Theory - Soft Kitty if you wnat to see more

  • ...right!! :)

  • well, they never said that Leonard ate the yogurt, we just assumed that he did because of sheldon's tone

  • "Many people who cannot tolerate milk, either because of a protein allergy or lactose intolerance, can enjoy yogurt. The culturing process makes yogurt more digestible than milk."

  • LOL. i love how he opens his mouth and lenords like ...ugh!

  • Jim seems so tall! =o

  • and skinny

  • According to IMBD he's 188 cm

  • there is a step up into their kitchen, i believe...

  • which episode is this?

  • I love Jim (Sheldon) he is such an amazing actor, I love when he hits the bench then bends and opens his mouth, it's so awesome.

  • Pee wee + Mr Bean = Sheldon

  • Ummm no. Both Peewee and Mr Bean do not total to same level of intelligence as Sheldon. And both also do not total to Sheldon's behaviour.
