Lionel track? As an ex New Yorker (Harlem baby!), how dare you run a Chicago subway train through a NYC subway station LOL! Nice video, hope you're having fun. I wanted to move up to O-Gauge, but I haven't the room or the money for it. So I'm stuck with Walther's Proto 1000 HO R-21 NYC subway trains (made in China and cheap looking) patiently waiting for MTH to produce a line of NYC subway trains in HO -Gauge like the very realistic and fine examples they produced in O-Gauge. Enjoy friend.
@afroboarder70 No question that they're worth it, but that gauge can be ungodly expensive particularly if you have the kind of layout I had in mind. I moved up from N-Scale to HO as HO is the most popular scale, and therefore more parts/equipment available for it and of course less room required for it. I didn't it made sense to buy one train running on a small circular track because it's so expensive. One day though....
@Trolleymoose well the layout is much bigger since this video, basically there is 3 tracks on the bottom + the 2 subways, and 2 tracks on the upper level so far
I always take the orange line from Midway to Roosevelt. After Roosevelt we go to the red line subway, we board the red line to 95th and get off at Sox 35th.
Awesome video! I'm quite impressed with the station you've built!
I'm a little puzzled why MTH went to the effort of getting what sounds like actual recordings of the CTA announcer guy, but then the announcements are wrong. He says "Ashland is next", not "Next... is Ashland."

Reminds of when my brother and I sneaked out and caught the El to Comiskey to see the Sox one night. Sweet.
