yeah i got second problem... when i start a game my monitor show a message "out of range" what to do i cant fix resolution....... plx what to do..... note before re installation it was working great......

To finish with the problem elevating it version 1.0.1 is necessary to lower crack and to substitute it qeu you is using. I find that making this he will finish with its problem.

When you have it illegal from the Internet then Install the new Patches and get a cracked Exe.

i think the pc version of mirrors edge sucks. i have it too, but it doesnt work. when i want to start the game, i cant get to the main menu. i have installed the patch, have downloaded catalyst control center (for my ati graphics) , have the latest divers and have deactivated PhysX. if anyone has an idea what to do, please tell me.

This dont happen for me. But i have 1 pc'es and this is the ok pc. The other one is great but a little slow and it works fine on the other pc ( mirrors edge ) but on this one it keeps saying *theres a problem with Mirrors edge we give u a msg if we found what the problem is * . I cant even go to menu . It just show the leg where she runs and my screen get black 1 sec and saying the problem. It sucks. But glad it works on the other pc :P

i gotta problem of my own i got mirrors edge the other day right? then i played it got to the exact same bit as DRopDRopG did (goes to the menu like it happens him) then for some stupid reason my saves gone i start again and i cant move faith i try changin the controls but i still cant move PLZ HELP!!!

same pc ... no problem,you should try instaling vista on a different partition,i finished the game on vista so .. i think you should try that ... :p

i have bypassed several of these bugs up until the sewers part where you hit a button, and the large door opens up, and you head on into the giant sewer drainage area. About 15 seconds after hitting that button, i get sent back to the main menu, regardless of how much i spam the ESC button. I have the patch, and yet i still run into this problem.

IF anyone has any lucky getting passed this particular bug, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! i want to get further than just the 3rd level.

okay, listen closely. this problem is simple to pass. when you get to that elevator, just spam the ESC (pause) button several times. this will bypass the bug and get you to the next checkpoint but the bug happens several more times in the game.later on, when you turn a red valve, then go jump onto the pipes, the ONLY way i found to pass that one is to get as high up as you can, and jump down to your death. you will then respawn, and will be able to continue the game.

oh great, i tot i was the only one experiencing the stupid elevator menu problem, i tried clicking my mouse furiously in the hopes to "bypass" the bug and a host of other things but it still wouldn't work. :(

sorry, I can't help you, but the only thing I can say to that, is that PC games, aren't as good as PS3 games or whatever.

You dont have the hardware problems and so on..

you just put the CD inside and play.

I had also always problems with PC games so I decided to play on console

i patched it an its the same,im using 6.14.11.8122 and im havin problem with the control panel.i wannna change the fan speed and he wont let me,and he changed the language to hungarian:| and i cant put it back

so the VC fan is at 0% :| and i reinstalled

Disable Physx. That has been causing problems to a lot of people (including me). I really don't see any graphical difference when Physx is activated.

If the problem persists you can download the patch and see what happens.

Also you can try different drivers for you video card. I'm using the 181.20 Forceware and it sucks! I'm gonna return to the 178.13 version.

There's a problem with the nv4_disp.dll file (only Nvidia cards) It takes you back to Windows - makes the game freeze or even worse... blue screen :S

I still don't know how to solve it :(
